Zack and Wiki is the best Point-and-Click game on the Wii.
Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is one of the most underrated Wii games on the market. It turns out to be a fantastic point-and-click adventure, which can compete with classics like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, and The Fate of Atlantis.

Creative Puzzle Game
Zack & Wiki is a fantastic puzzle game that makes very creative use of the Wii Remote.
From sawing, tilting, and pulling a lever to hammering and even sword fighting, this game has incredibly fun puzzles for you to solve that you can only experience on the Wii!

Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is truly a cleverly designed game. With many puzzles, you'll have that feeling of "oh yes" when you finally complete them. Visually and audibly, it hits the mark. The graphics do what they need to do, and the music is just right in terms of intensity.

In terms of storytelling, the game is also well-crafted. Throughout, you find yourself wondering about Captain Barbarossa's exact plans. This game is truly for everyone: young and old alike!

Great point & click adventure, although using the analog stick would have been nice
Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is a classic point & click adventure, but one of the best of its kind.
The game is packed with real brain teasers, humorous situations, and each level is different and challenging. There is also a huge amount of items and such to collect, and the Wii controls are fully utilized (although they don't always respond as you'd like).

I just feel it's a shame that the analog stick can't be used to move Zack. It would have been much more enjoyable than having to "click" on the screen all the time.

In our home, this was the game that truly brought the possibilities of the Wii to life. In this adventurous puzzle game, you have to chop down trees, play a flute, and open umbrellas to progress. It’s a brain-teaser that’s fun for all ages, although a bit of help may sometimes be needed.

At its core, Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is an adventure game filled with puzzles that you, as a player, must solve. The Wii-Mote is used in all sorts of creative ways. At the beginning, the puzzles are quite simple, but as you advance, they become increasingly challenging. You’ll need to solve more and more riddles where good timing and logical thinking are essential.

The design of the game is perfectly tailored to the capabilities of the Wii. The colourful cartoon graphics make the console's low resolution hardly noticeable. You don’t have to constantly hunt for ‘pixels’, which is often the case in many adventure games. Although the style may seem simple, the puzzles are anything but. It’s not a game for the very youngest, as they may lose interest quickly. But playing together with parents and solving puzzles is incredibly enjoyable, even though there’s no real multiplayer mode. The only downside to Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is that there has never been a sequel. If you love creative puzzle games with a unique character, then this is an absolute gem in the Wii collection!

Technically, the game doesn't look amazing, but artistically, it's delightful to behold. The environments are very colorful, and the characters have an exaggerated goofy appearance.

Most puzzles are cleverly crafted, and some are quite challenging to solve. Additionally, the puzzles make good use of the Wii Remote.

Zack and Wiki is a delightful puzzle game with excellent gameplay and beautiful colorful environments and characters. Any Wii owner who appreciates puzzle games should have this in their collection.

Original gameplay with excellent Wii Remote control
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is a highly original game that truly showcases what you buy a Wii for. Of course, the game doesn't look anywhere near as good as an average game on the 360 or PS3, but this game effectively demonstrates that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. The controls are good (you only use the Wii Remote), the game is vibrant, and offers good replay value. One of the better games on the Wii!
