Wii Play - Nintendo Wii

Just hang out in the main menu of Wii Play for a while, and your Mii character will fall asleep, causing the music to change as well. If you wait even longer, your little character will automatically wake up again.

In the Single Player mode of Wii Play, you can shoot with two Wiimotes in Shooting Range. In the player selection screen, you must first have two Wiimotes registered. Now choose Shooting Range and after you see the ducks flying out of the grass, press A or B on the other Wiimote. You will now see that you have a second reticle. You can now shoot with two Wiimotes.

When green tanks appear in the levels of the tank mini-game in Wii Play, it's best to keep moving. Green tanks shoot very quickly. Tanks aim at the spot where you are at that moment. They don't pay attention to whether you're moving. If you stand still for a moment, you can easily get hit by one of those bullets. So, keep driving.

Click on body parts of your Mii at the main menu of Wii Play and it will do different things. On the left you see the body part, on the right the movement.

head	shake
torso	jump
right leg	go up along with the hands
left leg	act / something resembling falling

If you're playing the tank game in Wii Play, you can earn an extra bonus tank every 5 levels! (This only works when playing solo.)

When they count down from 3 to 1, quickly press the A and B buttons on Wii Play. This way you won't just have a regular shooting thing, but a laser ball.

In this game, it can sometimes be really tricky to steer properly. It's more convenient to use a Mario Kart steering wheel for this. Just remember to flip it around so the back of the wheel faces you. It steers a lot smoother this way! Tip: Avoid making sharp turns in this game. This will slow down your cow significantly.

When playing the game where you have to find little characters, at some point it will say: What's your favorite? Remember that character well, because a few levels later they will ask: Find your favorite. You'll have to click on the character you selected back then in Wii Play.

When you're going to play Tanks, it's best to play with two people. That way you have a better chance of 'surviving'. You can use the following tactic:
One person shoots all the tanks on the left side, the other person shoots on the right side. (Of course, this can also be done with up and down).

When playing Tanks (one or two players) from Wii Play, you can use the Bounce tactic: If you are in front of a wall with the COM behind it, you can use the sides to bounce the bullets.* For example: You shoot to the left against the wall and it bounces back against the COM.

*Your bullets only bounce once.

Want to make the Find Mii minigame extra easy? Head over to your Mii character channel and create lots of very distinctive characters. When you go back to playing Wii Play and try Find Mii, many of the characters will be the same as the ones on your Mii character channel.
This way, you'll quickly spot if there are two identical characters with those very noticeable green hats. "Found!"

Only into playing table tennis on Wii Play? For every 10 times you hit the ball back, you'll get 1 more person watching from the sidelines.

When you go fishing in this game, you can fish with your fishing rod in the scenery! Unfortunately, the trees and bushes just stay put when you cast your line in from Wii Play.

Take it easy while you're playing and try to get as far as possible with Wii Play. When facing tanks that shoot rockets, it's useful to shoot multiple bullets and keep moving a lot. The rockets are very fast. For tanks that can move very quickly, it's best to stay in one place.

In Tanks (the most fun game of all) you have different tanks:
Red: shoots often and quickly (most difficult).
Light brown: doesn't move and shoots infrequently (super simple).
Brown: moves and shoots infrequently (slightly more challenging).
Yellow: shoots and leaves mines behind (annoying, if you're not careful you'll end up killing yourself!)
Green: shoots fast rockets (fairly difficult).

Someone already mentioned that you can click on your Mii on the start screen and it will make different movements. But they forgot one: if you click in the middle of its legs, it will startle and look at you with big eyes from Wii Play!

When you shoot the balloons by color at the Shooting Range, so red after red, blue after blue, you'll get extra bonus points for the 2nd balloon in Wii Play.

When you're in the character menu of Wii Play, you can click on the characters. Pressing on the head will make it shake, and pressing on the arm will make it strike a funny pose.

In between levels, birds will fly by in Wii Play. Shoot them to earn 10 points.

The only fun minigame in this collection, in my opinion, is the tank minigame from Wii Play. But it can also be very challenging. In this video, you can see how to beat all those tricky levels!
