Beautiful, choiceless, short story - Buggy controls, camera, and commentary - Fun sparring mode
The story of a bullied student who rises to become a professional boxer is well thought out, you fight to take some sort of revenge. You progress by winning a series of fights. And that's a nice concept. Between each fight, there's a scene in the form of a video that allows you to follow the story. For example, you see the character training. I had thought that you could also do training yourself, unfortunately, that's not the case. You also never get the option to make choices, so you follow the same story every time.
In addition to the story mode, you can spar. This is a fight between you and another player or against the computer. Depending on how much you've unlocked in the story mode, you can choose from a wide range of players and fighting arenas, you can also choose different music. Another plus point is the ability to choose the strengths of both fighters with sliders and their appearance, and choose from weak, average, or strong.
The controls are definitely not the same as in Wii Sports, although there are different control configurations, it will be difficult to get used to because it seems like there are bugs causing your movements not to match those of your character. This is a real shame.
The camera also doesn't always work, sometimes the opponent even disappears from view, very annoying when you're trying to hit them, of course.
The commentary during the fights corresponds to the actions in the game, but the statements are sometimes not completed when the next one begins. Sort of like: "And he hits him on the r, right, ra, knockdown!"Victorious Boxers Challenge
