Extensive multiplayer and stunning graphics in Super Smash Bros Brawl Just like everyone says: it's a top game! The single-player mode is much better than in the previous games. It's partly written by Kazushige Nojima, a writer from the Final Fantasy series. The only thing I miss is the old Adventure mode from Melee. The multiplayer in this game has also become more extensive with more items, levels, characters, etc.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl also looks graphically amazing, and the music is beautiful. The levels in this game have become very beautiful, so beautiful that sometimes you forget to pay attention and just end up staring at the background. This game also has online features where you can send your self-made levels, screenshots, or videos to friends. There's also a checklist with many things to unlock. One of those things is Virtual Console games that you can try out for a short time. In short, a top-notch game! Cijfer:
9,8Impressive multiplayer options and online mode This is a worthy successor to one of the most enjoyable Gamecube games. The single player mode has been improved and is now much longer. But of course, that's not why you buy this game, no, you buy it for the multiplayer. And I have to say, it's incredibly fun! You have a lot of options to customize the matches as you like. The time, the number of lives, you can even start with 300% damage! The graphics are very nice and the sound is well done too. What's really cool is the online mode, because now you can battle others from all over the world. There are plenty of characters to unlock to defeat your friends with. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is more than worth its money! Cijfer:
9,5Extensive Character Selection and Amazing Storyline in Super Smash Bros. Brawl Nintendo can be very proud of this game. In my opinion, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the best game made so far. The story about the Subspace Emissary is just fantastic: the cutscenes, the plot, and of course the characters themselves (including the bosses)! The co-op mode really seals the deal! It's a shame that Jigglypuff, Toon Link, and Wolf are not part of the story. Just like in SSB and SSBM, Brawl also focuses mainly on the battles. The selection of characters is extensive and that naturally makes it much more enjoyable! My favorite characters are Zelda and the Pokémon Trainer (Go Squirtle!); and my favorite stage is "Pokemon Stadium 2". I was a bit disappointed that they added so few Melee stages because I found those slightly more enjoyable than those in Brawl. The Final Smashes are an amazing addition! The character mercilessly unleashes their strongest (or in some cases, most useful) attack on their opponents! I think Ness's and the Pokémon Trainer's are the coolest! In short, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a fantastic must-have for the Wii! Cijfer:
9,8 Read more reviews.Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Amazing adventure and multiplayer fun with friends Super Smash Bros Brawl. Long awaited, even delayed, but when it finally arrived! =D First thing I did was dive into the adventure mode and unlock all characters as far as possible in Adventure mode. The cutscenes were simply amazing, although it did get a bit boring at times, but that didn't matter, it remained enjoyable! Afterwards, I played many rounds with friends, and it's always a blast. The Final Smashes are well executed, and they are just great to watch. After playing for a while, you can learn to dodge ALL of them, fun to tease your friends with. ;-) Read more...The online mode (which everyone was so excited about) was disappointing. There is often lag in the game causing matches to be slow, unlike Mario Kart Wii, where all races are held on a server. The stage builder was also very fun, although it was a shame that there were few building pieces available, but still, you can create super fun levels with it. The music was, no, IS also amazing. After listening to Yoshi"s Story Ending, I immediately felt like playing Yoshi"s Story again, and also the fantastic remixes of Zelda and Mario (or is it remixes?). Just great. My favorite track is still Final Destination, just a beautiful track. It's also nice that the target smash is back, and harder than ever, with 5 levels where you can test your characters. If you're not in the mood for that or feeling stressed, just give Sandbag a whack with the baseball bat, which can now also be done with 2 players (by the way, target smash too!). All in all, it's simply a TOP GAME. A solid 9.5. Hide. Cijfer:

Super Smash is fun for everyone Super Smash Bros. Brawl may well be the best game that the Wii has to offer. It features a lot more characters than the previous game, including unique characters like the Pokemon Trainer, who can switch between three characters. This game is recommended for literally everyone, whether you enjoy intense battles or prefer to sit on the couch with a few friends and engage in a peaceful fight. This game is a masterpiece, and those who call this game the scapegoat of the Super Smash series clearly have not given it the chance it deserves. Cijfer:
10Despite somewhat slow gameplay, still a fantastic Smash Bros. title! Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii is an iconic addition to the Smash Bros. series. Released in 2008, the game offers an extensive lineup of popular characters from various game franchises. The addition of new fighters, such as Sonic and Solid Snake, brings diversity to the already impressive roster.
Brawl introduces the Subspace Emissary mode, a narrative single-player experience that brings together characters from different worlds to face a common threat. While the storyline may not be the most memorable, it adds a welcome layer of depth to the otherwise competitive gameplay. It's iconic to see all these characters together in one special mode with all those cool cutscenes! Awesome! Read more...
The gameplay remains true to the core principles of the series, with simple controls and accessibility for newcomers, yet depth for experienced players. The addition of Final Smashes, powerful attacks available after collecting a special orb, adds an extra element of excitement to the battles.
Visually, Brawl was impressive for its time, with colorful graphics and detailed levels that do justice to the respective game origins of the characters. The soundtrack also deserves praise, featuring an extensive selection of tracks from various franchises.
Unfortunately, Brawl is also known for its somewhat slow gameplay compared to later Smash titles, which may be a drawback for some. Nevertheless, Super Smash Bros. Brawl remains an essential game for the Wii, and it has earned its place as a beloved classic in the series. Hide. Cijfer:

Detailed movements and endless gameplay in Super Smash Bros. Brawl Really good game. A great successor to the Super Smash Bros Series. Very detailed when you look at the movements the characters make. There's also no end to it, because there is so much to play. The music is very enjoyable, but sometimes a loud sound effect comes through and that makes it less beautiful. But this game is a MUST-play. Cijfer:

Nintendo's Best Creations: Famous Characters and Thrilling Battles Whether you're a fan of Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, or Kirby, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is always fun!!! Play with Nintendo's most famous characters in this heart-pounding fighting game. Whether you play alone or with 3 others, the game remains enjoyable!!! For instance, use Mario's Fireball to burn the others or Kirby's Swallow to copy the powers of your fellow players. The game is one of Nintendo's best creations!!! Cijfer:

Extremely comprehensive
I've had Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii for only 2 weeks, but I really find this game amazing. It's a game from 2008 with decent graphics for that time. But the game is really nice. You have different game modes, king of the hill, 1V1 (or 1 against multiple players max 4, story mode, and a few other game modes.
Eventually, you can choose from a lot of different characters, not many at first. but as you play more, you unlock more, which can be quite addictive. Each character also has 8 different skins, which can make a character very funny or very cool. like pink Donkey Kong. Read more...
Furthermore, the game also has a lot of different levels. each level has different level interactions, like disappearing platforms, plates that move up and down, or like in the Mario Kart level kart cars that can run you over. so you always have to watch out. your character is never safe. Additionally, there is a wide variety of different power-ups.
But the best part of all, in my opinion, is that all levels, power-ups, and characters come from different Nintendo game series, such as Metroid, Pokémon, Mario, Kirby, Zelda, and many more.
So, I definitely recommend the game, it doesn't get boring quickly, it's extremely comprehensive with all the levels, power-ups, and characters, and if you have little time, you can play this game very easily, a match only lasts a few minutes.
And it's fun for young and old, the only downside: if you play solo, you can only play certain game modes against the computer. (you used to be able to do 1v1 matches online as well) which is a bit of a shame because the online feature has been removed. That's why I give it an 8.5 Hide. Cijfer:
8,5Endless gaming fun with multiplayer mode and various game modes Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a super fun game that will keep you entertained for hours. Once you've completed the story (Subspace Emissary), there are still the Events (solo or with a friend), the Classic and All-star mode, the Boss battles, the challenges... And when you've done it all, you can keep on playing endlessly in multiplayer mode with your friends. Cijfer:

The most fun game with cool characters and endless possibilities This is truly the most fun game I have ever played! There is so much to do, I will be entertained for a very long time! You can create fun levels and choose from a wide variety of cool characters. My favorite characters are: Kirby, Meta Knight, Fox, Pikachu, and Sonic! And they all have a super cool Final Smash! The Trophies are also very cool! Compared to Super Smash Bros. Melee, this is much better. But I still find some Melee Stages more enjoyable. My favorite Stages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl are: Pokemon Stadium 2, Pokemon Stadium (Melee), and the levels you create yourself. This is truly the coolest game ever! Cijfer:
10Must-Have Game with Extensive Characters and Enhanced Multiplayer Awesome. You have to get Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Compared to the previous super smash bros games, this one is on another level! You'll be doing this every hour, every day, every week. And why: looks great, lots of characters, fun items, improved story & multiplayer mode and more. THAT'S WHY! I would give this a higher score if I could. Cijfer:

A must-have for every Wii owner The principle is the same as the previous games in the series. Fight with your favorite Nintendo character against friends or the computer in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There are more playable characters, 39 in total, of which you can unlock 14, and there are a whopping 41 stages to play on.
This Smash Bros also offers a fun single player mode: The Subspace Emissary, where you can keep yourself entertained and in my opinion, is the best adventure mode of all games, even those that follow this one.
Definitely recommended to play alone or to play multiplayer, fun guaranteed. Cijfer:

Robust Roster, but Less Favorite in the Series Personally, I find Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii to be one of the lesser entries in the series. However, this doesn't mean it's a bad Smash Bros game. It still boasts a robust roster of characters, including new additions like Meta Knight and King Dedede. At our place, we also really enjoyed the Subspace Emissary mode, with its blend of platforming and fighting.
The visual style and music are beautiful and complement the game's atmosphere well. It's a recommendation for fans of the series, even though it feels a bit slower compared to other installments. The multiplayer aspect remains incredibly fun and provides lots of enjoyment with friends and family. Cijfer:

Addictive fighting fun with Mario and unfamiliar characters Now, I'm not usually very critical about games on the Wii, but Super Smash Bros. Brawl was a game that took some getting used to. Fighting with Mario characters against characters from games I didn't even know. I decided to practice and soon got the hang of it, and started practicing with friends. I started to enjoy it more and more. Once I finally completed the game, I couldn't stop. One word: amazing! Cijfer:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an incredibly fun game that many people have grown up with. The game is fantastic because it combines multiple worlds like Mario and Zelda, and being able to battle against your friends makes the game even better. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this game; definitely a recommendation!

Plenty to do with lots of Nintendo characters! This is a game where you get to battle with all sorts of different Nintendo characters. It's great fun with multiple players, but even on your own, there's plenty to keep you busy, such as: story mode, playing against computer opponents, unlocking things, creating your own battlefields, and much more. There are lots of new characters, and my favorite, who is new, is Sonic. There's a ton to do in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and it never gets boring. There are a total of 35 characters, some of which you need to unlock. This is a really good game and you definitely need to give it a go. Cijfer:

Many characters, stages, and extra modes Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii is a game with a ton of characters and stages. I really like that you can even play as non-Nintendo characters, like Solid Snake and Sonic. The extra modes, including the Subspace Emissary, offer a lot of content and provide hours of fun. This mode is a kind of adventure where you defeat enemies and solve puzzles with friends.
Playing with friends on our couch is always fun, although some characters are definitely better than others. This can be a bit frustrating at times, but it also leads to exciting battles and a lot of enjoyment. Cijfer:

Subspace Emissary is really fun and addictive Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii is a really great game. I found the new Subspace Emissary mode to be very enjoyable to play. The story and cooperative gameplay make you want to play it more often. It's always a blast to play this game at our house. Everyone can join in, which makes it extra cozy.
Although we really enjoy the game, we noticed that some characters, like Kirby, are much better than others. This can sometimes feel unfair, especially when playing against each other. The maps in the game are fun, but I was disappointed that Nintendo didn't add more maps from Super Smash Bros Melee. It's cool that you can create your own maps, but unfortunately, the options are a bit limited.
Multiplayer is truly the highlight of Super Smash Bros Brawl. Playing with friends or family provides hours of entertainment. In the end, this is one of the best Wii games for me. The game offers so much variety and fun that it's almost perfect. Cijfer:

Challenging and Addictive: Hours of Fun with Friends
I just love Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I play it for at least 7 hours every day. I can't get enough of it. I play this game a lot with friends and the fun part is you can do the Subspace Emissary together.
There is so much you can do with Super Smash Bros. Brawl like completing challenges, collecting stickers and trophies. Completing events alone or together. Creating your own stages. You discover something new every time. Cijfer:

Full of action and excellent graphics! Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an amazing game!
It's full of action and the graphics are excellent! The characters have lots of new moves and attacks. There are many new characters to unlock such as Meta Knight, King Dedede (who is known from the old Nintendo 8-bit game), Kirby and many other characters.
It's a very fun game to play with many players, but of course, it can also be enjoyed alone ;)! Cijfer:

Fun game, Switch version is better This game is really great. It features fun animations and a lot of character choices. In my opinion, Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Switch is better, as it gets updated regularly, includes many new characters, and supports amiibo. So, if you own a Switch, I would recommend getting that one. However, if not, this one is still very enjoyable! Cijfer:

If you end up tied with your friends and reach a sudden death match, try to win as quickly as possible. Because after a certain time, bombs will start falling from the sky in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Most people will never have encountered this because in a sudden death match you usually die within 1 minute. You can simply go to the menu in the stages of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the stages, you can then set how often you want to hear that track and you can also completely turn off bad tracks. You can even turn off all tracks, etc. Makes the game a lot more enjoyable without bad tracks. Personal tip: How can I obtain an end boss as a trophy in the game? Negertje | | 283 | | 12 jaar |

Fox, Falco, and Wolf all have a Landmaster as their Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It may seem like the same Final Smash three times, but there are differences.
- Fox's and Falco's Final Smashes last 18 seconds. Wolf's only lasts 12 seconds. - Wolf's Landmaster is faster and stronger than Fox's and Falco's. - Falco's and Wolf's Landmasters have the same jet boost and both rise at the same speed. - Falco has the weakest and slowest Landmaster of the three. Personal tip: How can I avoid getting hit by lava waves in Norfair? In Norfair, lava waves occasionally flood the entire land. To avoid getting hit, you can sprint into the capsule and hope you don't get knocked out. Alternatively, you can jump above the screen! If you have a character that can fly well, it's better to jump just before the wave hits the land in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You won't get hit, and you can quickly get back to fighting! Personal tip: How can Pit, Metaknight, and Charizard fly to safety to escape in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? This tip applies to Pit, Meta Knight, and Charizard. These characters have wings that you can use in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. After you jump, hold down the jump button to start flying. If you get knocked far away, this can help you easily fly back to land. And here's a fun fact: If you dive down from a great height with Meta Knight and then fly back up, you'll reach a much higher altitude than where you started! Personal tip: How can Kirby steal the actions of other players? With Kirby, you can steal the abilities of certain players. Inhale the victim with B or 1 and spit them back out. Your opponent will go flying hard. If it's not a kill, repeat the process.
Alternatively, use your special move and do the poison attack. Or flamethrower, or right-B.
Charizard easy kill:
Use Flamethrower, then the A-up attack, B-down, A-down, and then two times B-up. Follow it up with another Flamethrower and then Rock Smash (B-right). This will send someone flying hard with a high percentage. (Keep repeating. Just be careful not to take too much damage.)
Or use your Special Move.
Ganondorf: Simple Kills (3 ways)
1. Use the B attack. Anyone hit will go flying.
2. Inflict a lot of damage with A and A-up. Keep repeating. Then A-up or B. Making easier kills is almost impossible!
3. Or use your special move..
In the next message, you will see Yoshi, Mario, and Kirby! Personal tip: How to play Yoshi, Fox, and Sonic in Super Smash Bros? Yoshi25 | | 12 jaar |

Personal tip: Wat zijn enkele ultieme beschermtricks voor personages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Yoshi25 | | 12 jaar |
Here are some defensive tricks with a few characters for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Yoshi: Throw your eggs upwards with B. If someone is in front of you, either roll into your egg or eat it and then kick them upwards. Press Z afterwards.
Bowser: Use your flamethrower forward. Press A upwards if someone is above you. From the other side, press Z.
Meta Knight: Move with B if someone is in front of you or stand still with B. Use B upwards if someone is above you. From the other side, press Z. Want to escape? Stand at the highest point and fly 5 times. Then use B upwards. Don't do anything with your nunchuk or wii-remote, just hold on. Right before the edge, tilt down with your Nunchuk.
Charizard: Use Flamethrower forward or walk with B. Use B upwards if someone is above you. If someone is behind you, press Z or switch Pokémon.
Sonic: Jump high to evade or attack with A-up. Or B. He will automatically target your enemy!
Diddy Kong: Stand still with B. Then use B-up to the right or left. From behind, keep throwing bananas or press up and Z.
Snake: Use B-down. Use B to control around you. Stand still with B and hit someone.
Fox/Falco/Wolf: Use B-down, A-up, and stand still facing the right way. Otherwise, move with A or use B-up to the side.
Kirby: Transform into a stone, then you cannot be hit, not even by special moves. You should use B-up. Swing your hammer to the right or press Z, or hold down A to the left.
That's it! Yoshi25~ Jim Easter Eggs and Glitches: How does the regenerating terrain glitch work in Super Smash Bros? Ate-jan | | 2148 |
This glitch allows you to stay in a final smash indefinitely. For example, when Jigglypuff uses its final smash, it remains infinitely large. Or when a hole appears on certain stages. These are the levels where it is possible:
Bridge of Eldin: The hole that appears in the middle (easiest).
Spear pillar: Hole in the middle created by Dialga, Palkia, or Cresselia behind it.
Green Hill Zone: Pieces that are broken by attacking them there.
Pirate ship: when the ship collides with a rock (most difficult, not recommended)
You do this by executing the final smash just as the hole is about to be remade.
If I'm unclear, here's a video for reference.
Secrets: How do Peach's turnip attack secrets work? Retrogast | | 6421 |
Peach's turnip attack may seem quite weak. You throw a turnip and it only deals 7% damage to the opponent, which doesn't seem like much. But pay attention to the faces on the turnips. There are different ones. Most of them deal 7 to 8% damage, but some can deal 11% damage. And if you're lucky, you might pick one that deals 36% to 42% damage to the opponent. Watch the video to see which turnip does what in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Furthermore, Peach doesn't just pull turnips from the ground. You also have a chance of getting Mr. Saturn (useless), a laser sword, and a Bob-omb. Watch the video, and everything will become clear, showing that the seemingly weak vegetable attack can actually be quite strong with a bit of luck. Personal tip: How can Peach attack from below through a platform in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Silke | | 205 | | 19 jaar |

Michiel | | 135 | | 14 jaar |
Have you ever tried dealing 999% damage? But never succeeded without getting yourself killed? Well, I've got a neat trick for you!
Requirements:
2 Lucarios (one being yourself and the other could be your friend).
1 Victim (I opt for Ness or Lucas xD).
Alright, are you familiar with Lucario's 'B' attack? (On the Wiimote, it's '(2)'.) No? It's a kind of energy ball that you can also throw.
Stand back-to-back with your friend, and use the 'B' attack when the victim is nearby. It might be a bit tricky to pull off at first, but once the victim is caught in that energy ball, they won't be able to escape (unless one of you stops the attack, then they can get out). Well, you could also make yourself a cup of tea during this process... have fun! :D Easter Eggs and Glitches: How can you continue fighting with 0 HP in a Stamina Match in Super Smash Bros? Ikke | | 239 |
This is easier to do with 2 players. Start a Stamina Match. Player 1 chooses Bowser, and player 2 can pick anyone. Player 1 uses their Final Smash (Giga Bowser Transformation (it's easiest if he has low HP)). Then player 2 has to attack Giga Bowser until he reaches 0 HP. And ta-da, you'll be fighting with 0 HP, even when you transform back into Bowser! Personal tip: How do Lucario's attacks become stronger as its damage percentage increases? Timmy | | 15 jaar |

Easter Eggs and Glitches: How can I perform a one hit K.O. with Jigglypuff in Super Smash Bros? Kel96kel | | 3035 |

Personal tip: How can I score a lot of KOs in Cruel Brawl? Are you struggling to get (many) kills in Cruel Brawl?
Well, there's a solution! Play as Kirby in Cruel Brawl from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You need to fly off the edge of the platform to the left or right. The enemies will follow you and fly off the platform too! Some won't survive! This is a way to get more than 10 kills. You'll need to practice a bit before you get the hang of it! Easter Eggs and Glitches: How do characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl perform funny dances? If you press 1 and 2 (with nunchuck), each character does a special dance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Unfortunately, you can't inflict any damage on others during this time. Personal tip: How can I easily take out an enemy with Falco, Fox, and Wolf in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Kevin1325 | | 2027 | | 14 jaar |
When you have the final smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, you only have a few seconds to take out your opponent. However, if they end up on your platform, you need to go up and move along with your opponent's movements. Once you're all the way at the top, your opponent is out. But when you come back down, position yourself under your opponent's floating platform, and as they come down, quickly go back up. This works best with Fox because he stays up the longest and is faster than Falco's. Personal tip: How can I quickly collect new characters in the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Kevin1325 | | 2027 | | 14 jaar |
When playing the Subspace Emissary and you encounter a new character, you need to go back to the title screen with the Super Smash Bros. Brawl animation. Then, when you press 'a', you will unlock the character(s) you encountered in the Subspace Emissary. You can also unlock Wolf by completing the BOSS mode with Fox, Link through the classic mode, and Jigglypuff by completing 20 events, but only after you have completed the Subspace Emissary. B-master1 | | 220 | | 15 jaar |
With Wario, you can summon your motorbike by pressing right+B.
While riding your bike, you can pull off wheelies by moving the control stick upwards and perform a secret taunt while seated on the bike. Personal tip: How can Fox use the 'fire!' attack with the Nunchuk in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Jim | | 11 jaar |
Do you know the Pokémon Weavile? If an opponent stands between him and he attacks quickly, you can't move anymore! That can also happen with Fox! With the Nunchuk: Nunchuk button to the right and press B, then Nunchuk button left, then right again.
It's better to use Fox than Falco. Fox is superior.
The top tip for Fox is: Use the ''fire!'' attack. Nunchuk button up and press B. Then quickly press your Nunchuk button down, to the right, or to the left. If you go to the right with your Nunchuk button, your ''fire!'' attack will also go to the right in Super Smash Bros. Brawl! Wondering how to execute a powerful attack with Sonic? Set your computer opponent to the lowest difficulty. Jump twice, then press B-Up. You'll jump really high! But how to secure a quick kill? Easy, press A-Down. Then use his B attack in the air. Follow up with A-Up. Sonic will perform an attack that you can repeat continuously.
Personal tip: How do you play Meta Knight in Super Smash Bros? Yoshi25 | | 11 jaar |
Meta Knight:
1. Walk with B and go upwards (Keep attacking your opponent)
2. When using your tornado with B, keep pressing B or the jump button to go upwards with your tornado
3. When using your Final Smash, a world-famous trick: Stand near someone or diagonally above or below them. That way, it will hit them for sure
4. After doing 1, taunt twice and then B-down, making it harder for your opponent to hit you (After B-down, you can press Z (Defense button), which is even more useful for the combo)
5. A funny-looking trick. In Temple or that city level, on the highest platform, jump 5 times and use B-up without touching your Wii remote anymore, he will fly like a little airplane. Stop when you're just over halfway because if you go too far, you won't be able to fly anymore and will end up dying. Secrets: How do you perform a special attack in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? If you fall off the stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, some characters can shoot or throw a chain or rope. By pressing the grab button in the air near the edge, you will hang on and can even use it as an attack. Personal tip: How can I easily defeat Tabuu in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Jimmy | | 12 jaar |

Watch how quickly his health drops! Secrets: How can I score the best and maximize my chances in Trophy Shooting? Nickgamer | | 1211 |
When shooting for trophies, try to hit the sticker-vehicles as little as possible. Only aim for the Pokeballs, there are only 3 of them and you have just as much chance as with a long row of 8. This is definitely one of the best games ever. Easter Eggs and Glitches: How can I find the gigantic R.O.B. statue in Port Town Aero Dive? This is an easy trick with Kirby in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Lure someone to the edge and then swallow him/her, but don't absorb their powers. Easter Eggs and Glitches: What is the Kirby final smash glitch and how does it occur? Easter Eggs and Glitches: ROB - Is it an NES or Famicom version? R.O.B. was originally a robot toy that was bundled with the original NES in North America and Europe, and later was also available for the Famicom, the counterpart of the NES in Japan. In Japan, R.O.B. was red with white, while in the West, it was purple with white. This distinction can still be seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl: if you choose the red version of R.O.B., it says "Famicom" at his feet, and if you choose the purple one, it says "Nintendo Entertainment System" (NES). Easter Eggs and Glitches: Why are there dolphins to be seen in the Big Blue Melee arena? In the Melee arena Big Blue, you can spot a bunch of screens displaying dolphins. Personal tip: How can I effectively use Super Armor in advanced gameplay? Tips for the advanced players and for those who want to learn a few tricks.
Some moves in the game have an extra skill that many fans refer to as Super Armor. If you perform this action at the same time as you are being attacked, you will still receive damage but your attack/action will continue. Normally, you would be knocked back or fly off the field, but with these special moves, you stay on the field in the same spot carrying out your action. If you time it right, you can never die with these attacks.
Here is a list of moves that have Super Armor:
Snake | B up attack (starting point) |
Charizard | B up attack (starting point) |
Donkey Kong | Hold down B attack (while hitting) |
Ike | Hold down B attack (when released) |
Ike | B up attack (starting point before he goes into the air, when he throws his sword up) |
Yoshi | Egg lay |
Watch the video for more clarity, the first 40 seconds cover moves with Super Armor.
Personal tip: How can I survive with a high damage percentage from teching? If you have taken a lot of damage and could be knocked out of the field at any moment, always try to fly towards a wall. When flying towards the wall, press the shield button at the right moment. This will make the character kind of cling to the wall. This technique is also known as teching. Give it a try with Meta Knight in Pokemon Diamond Stadium in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and you'll see him hanging from the ceiling like a bat. But if you want to continue fighting quickly, you can simply press down, as you've already absorbed the blow.
This way, even if you have 999% damage and there's a wall you're being hit against, you can cling to it and safely fall back down to keep fighting. This requires timing, so practice makes perfect :p
Easter Eggs and Glitches: How do you perform the Mega Explosion glitch in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? For this glitch, you'll need two people (you and a friend, for example). One will be Snake and the other King Dedede.
When Snake unearths a bomb (down B, I think), King Dedede must try to swallow the exploding bomb (with B). The bomb will keep exploding for a very long time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Personal tip: Best controller to use for this game My advice for this game is to use a Gamecube controller. The buttons are in the right places and easily accessible. You can manage with a Wii controller as well, but it will be a lot slower. All those button combinations just go slower with the Wii remote because they are a bit awkwardly placed, and this game has quite a few attack combos. This game requires control, and that's what a Gamecube controller provides. Personal tip: How can I improve auto-cancel and attack recovery as an advanced player? Attack recovery
After an attack, some moves (unless mistimed) have a short unavoidable animation that takes some time and could cost you dearly. An example of this is when you jump with Charizard or Ganondorf and perform a mid-air attack. If you do this at the wrong moment, the characters will land incorrectly and you might not be able to attack for about two-thirds of a second because the characters need to recover from landing (standing upright, for example). This gives the opponent an opportunity to attack you immediately.
Tip: Time your attacks well to avoid attack recovery (applies to more challenging characters to control like Ike, Marth, etc.)
Auto cancel
Some characters like Samus and Meta Knight have auto cancel on all attacks. These are actually the easier characters to control. With them, you don't need to time anything because as soon as they touch the ground, you can always attack immediately. However, you can attack even faster with these characters by pressing the down button. This way, you fall faster and can therefore attack more quickly. There are more characters with auto cancel as well. Watch the video after 40 seconds for tips on attack recovery and auto cancel.
Tip: Take extra advantage of the auto cancel with these characters because they can always attack immediately without delay. So, try to land back on the ground as quickly as possible with these characters to keep going.
Easter Eggs and Glitches: Did you know that the Pokemon series is the theme with the most trophies in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? NickGamerD utch | | 4194 |

The Smash will end, but Jigglypuff will be super-sized!!! Personal tip: How do I unlock characters by defeating green flags in Subspace Emissary? Negertje | | 283 | | 12 jaar |

Do you also find it annoying when you try to do an up attack with the Gamecube controller using up + B or up + A, and it accidentally makes you jump?

In the Sudden Death of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, walk and then press B or 2. The rocket will follow your opponent and explode on them, defeating them!
When you charge your energy shot and it's ready, you can walk again.
With your attack, you can quickly defeat someone. The downside is that you become Zero Suit Samus. Her attack is to transform back into Samus.
You should press B-down. Funny: The bomb can explode on Samus. It doesn't cause any damage!
Press B-up with event 21 of P1&P2 events. Then you have a super kill! One Hit KO!
King Dedede: Jump options. First try jumping and then do the B-up attack. Then land on someone. It will be a hard hit! Also, throw some creatures. If you've thrown a lot, it looks a bit like your final smash, but they don't run.
If you're ahead, swallow someone to stall for time. Charge your hammer for a gigantic hit and strike someone. BAM! OneHitKO!
Lucas/Ness
Jump options. If you're almost dead and can't jump up, then do B-up, or PK Thunder and shoot it from below yourself. You'll get about 25% more damage, but you'll fly up.
For a blaze, run and press B, PK Fire. Press B-down to bounce back items or make them disappear. Less tips and secrets.
