Well...
The game itself is quite enjoyable. There is a wide variety of sports available, and you can play a sort of tournament, so there is some sense of purpose. However, the controls are not functioning properly, and the graphics leave much to be desired. The controls work somewhat better for what I consider to be "boring sports" like ice skating and curling. But after 2 rounds of curling and a few laps on the ice, the fun wears off. The sports you expect more from, like soccer or basketball, are truly abysmal. The only sports I find somewhat decent are snowboarding and badminton. I wouldn't recommend buying Sports Island unless you are a big fan of bad games.

A fun game with a variety of sports
Sports Island is a very enjoyable game with a wide range of options. There is something fun for everyone, from playing basketball to go-karting. Personally, I find ice skating the most enjoyable. Sports Island features many different and fun characters. You can even play with your own Mii.
You can also participate in various exciting tournaments. Will you be taking the trophy home?

Each sport is enjoyable in its own way!
It's a fun game for anyone who loves sports or enjoys a challenge. There are different types of sports, some more elaborately developed than others, but they are all enjoyable to play and they all work well. The graphics are good and so is the sound. I personally enjoy snowboarding and motocross the most. The versatility is not only a strong point because there is something fun for everyone, but also because for each sport you have to do different things - sometimes you need good aim (archery), other times you need to be tactically savvy (basketball), and then there are times when it's full throttle (go-karting)! Typical game that works better as a frisbee or paddle!
This is one of those games that wants to ride on the success of other games. It seems like a fun game with a wide range of sports, but that is far from the truth! The sports have poor controls, or are just boring! The graphics and music don't help much in giving a good review either! Sports Island

Multiplayer is quite fun!
Initially, a pretty fun game, but after a week Sports Island starts to get boring. Playing with someone else is enjoyable, but alone, it's not much fun. The graphics, controls, and quality are quite poor. However, if you're looking for an inexpensive game, this is a good choice. It's also amusing that you can choose from various teams and characters.

We already have Wii Sports, so why...?
Just like any successful game franchise, the Wii Sports series also has a whole bunch of weak knockoff games: Sports Island is one of them. Under the motto of "more is better," a wide range of boring, completely underdeveloped sports are presented, which you'll have more than enough of after (maximum) 10 minutes. Unless you're looking for "yet another weak imitation of Wii Sports," I advise everyone to steer clear of this game...

Disappointment
This game is really not worth it. The sports in Sports Island are fun, but it gets boring very quickly. I only enjoyed the racing because you had to tilt the wii remote. Apart from that, there's really nothing to it.

Of lesser quality than Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
This game is not as good as Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Sports Island offers a wider range of sports, but Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort are of much better quality. This is also reflected in the price, as Sports Island is significantly cheaper. Therefore, opt for Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort if you want quality.

so-so... quite a fun game
Sports Island is a rather fun game. Some games are quite easy, like soccer. But others are quite challenging, such as basketball. You can do quite a few things like tournaments and matches.
There are 8 different teams, each with their own specialty. And each team has 6 members.

If you want to get active, this is a must-have!
Sports Island offers quite a variety of sports in general, but compared to other sports games, it might not seem as intimidating. This game features 10 different sports. The controls can be a bit tricky for some sports. Soccer seems to be the most enjoyable, but it moves as slow as a stationary train. Curling can be a bit dull when playing against the computer, as they almost always have the last stone and end up winning. Personally, I find the league feature very entertaining. You get to compete in all sports to secure 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place. The selection of teams available is quite fun as well.
