You have to love it and have a lot of patience
Spectrobes is a series derived from Pokémon, but they've put it in a space warrior jacket, and I have to say: they've done quite well. Many will have already played the DS versions and become fans as a result. Not me. This is the first time I came into contact with Spectrobes, and it wasn't love at first sight. I thought the game looked rather average. I thought to myself... bad purchase. But I changed my mind on this. It is indeed a good purchase. Slowly but surely, I started to love the game. Spectrobes is a game where you have to defeat other shadow monsters with the help of Pokémon-like creatures, including BIG shadow monsters that are incredibly annoying. I thought the game would be quick to play, but it's not. This game is indeed difficult. You need a good strategy to defeat the monsters in the right way. But I don't want to give too much away. You'll have to figure that out for yourself. So yes, I'm starting to build a good relationship with this game. That's why I give Spectrobes: Origins a 7.7. The graphics are sometimes quite average, and excavating every fossil you acquire can be quite tiring.
But whether you're a fan or a newbie like me... Spectrobes is definitely worth playing, because let's face it... Who wouldn't want to attack a monster with a wave of your remote control??
