Sonic and the Black Knight offers nothing but monotonous, boring levels.
First of all, it's not the real Sonic who dashes quickly through colorful two-dimensional levels. They've now put him in a three-dimensional world, where you have to do some bashing and collect coins. It's about a King who has turned evil, whom you have to defeat with a talking sword! Moreover, about 50% of the game consists of cutscenes. I put cutscenes in parentheses because they are only a few poorly drawn comic strips.

Fun game with beautiful graphics and clumsy controls
Sonic and the Black Knight is the sequel to Sonic and the Secret Rings. It's a fun game with beautiful graphics, but the controls can be a bit clumsy at times. I'm a fan of the Sonic games myself, so I found this to be an enjoyable game with an interesting story. You play as Sonic (duh) and you are transported to the medieval times where King Arthur has turned evil, and you have to dethrone him with the help of characters like Shadow, Knuckles, and Blaze. The controls are a bit cumbersome, but the level designs are enjoyable, and there are plenty of unlockables for extended playtime. Cijfer:

It's a really cool game! You travel back in time to King Arthur and you have to fight to save the kingdom! But who is actually the enemy? You'll find out when you play Sonic and the Black Knight, so get it now! I think it's a really cool game. Cijfer:

Sonic battles with dangerous sword Excalibur against King Arthur
Sonic and the Black Knight is a cool game where you fight against the evil King Arthur with the blue hedgehog (Sonic).
And in this game, Sonic doesn't fight with bare hands but with a dangerous sword: Excalibur. This sword is particularly strong and therefore cool to fight with, making it quite a challenge to handle :) Cijfer:

The first Sonic games, where you sprint through levels, sometimes grab a few coins, and defeat a few enemies, were really fun games. Sega is deviating more and more from this successful formula, a bit too much for my taste. It's just not enjoyable to have to suddenly stop a full sprint to hit an enemy. The graphics, on the other hand, are pretty nice, so that makes up for it a bit. Apart from the graphics, it's a boring game with annoying gameplay. Sonic and the Black Knight Cijfer:

Beautiful graphics and challenging gameplay with annoying controls
I just played Sonic and the Black Knight, and I immediately found it to be quite a fun game. The graphics are really nice. The controls can be a bit irritating, but you do get used to them. You have to defeat a certain ’’King Arthur’’, who has turned evil. To do this, you have to go through various levels and defeat knights. It's fun that you also have a special attack that allows you to defeat a knight in one go. Cijfer:

A fun game for children under 10
Like most Sonic games, it's quite enjoyable. It's fun for children under 10 because you don't have to do a lot and it has fun features like the talking sword and the king. This makes Sonic and the Black Knight not too complicated.
The graphics are not bad, but it's still not the Sonic we are familiar with. Cijfer:

Sonic and the Black Knight is, as usual, another mediocre Sonic game that does not do justice to the name of the blue hedgehog. The gameplay is way too simple and too easy, and on top of that, the game is short (which in this case isn't even that bad).

Disappointing
Well.. It's a bit disappointing.. The controls are very confusing but other than that it's okay.. The graphics of Sonic and the Black Knight are indeed very nice. But once you get the hang of the controls, it can become a bit more enjoyable.. Cijfer:

Sometimes fun, but there are better Sonic games
This game is a kind of continuation of Sonic and the Secret Rings. Sonic and the Black Knight is much better though. Here, you have a sword, which is a weird idea for a Sonic game, but it's pretty cool. The controls are a lot better. You can now play with a Nunchuck. There are still motion controls, but it plays easier than Sonic and the Secret Rings. The levels are also better and less boring.
The character of Sonic was truly fantastic in this game. This is exactly how I imagine the character Sonic, and I hope they bring that back someday. Cijfer:
