 Images In this part, you can play as Sonic in his normal form and as the "werehog."  As Sonic, the goal is to reach the end of the level as fast as possible.  In werehog levels, you often have to defeat enemies or collect items.  Sometimes the camera turns and it feels like you're playing a 2D game.

Sonic Unleashed is a beautiful and fairly challenging game.
Sonic Unleashed is a great game where you can play as both Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Werehog. During the day, you race with Sonic through continents of the world like a desert continent and icy plains. At night, you transform into a werewolf, able to stretch your arms to reach secret areas and defeat monsters with your claws. Sonic Unleashed is a beautiful and fairly challenging game, although it may be slightly less accessible for new players. Cijfer:

Werewolf is sloooow
Sonic Unleashed is a fun game, but unfortunately, when you play as a werewolf, you're usually very slow, which can be quite boring at times. Sadly, you can't play as Tails (it would be fun to have a werewolf Tails).
Fortunately, there are also sprint levels. It would be strange if the world's fastest hero started walking slowly. Sega, next time, add more speed to the game! Cijfer:

a fun game but sometimes annoying
Sonic Unleashed is a fun game with a lot of action in day and night levels with a new friend and your helper Chip. You have to be fast in the day levels to achieve a high rank, and you can take secret routes. In the night levels, you have to be quick, collect rings, and gather Dark Gaia Forces to achieve a high rank. In both levels, you also have to collect items for extras like videos or secret documents. There are also funny and sometimes sad cutscenes. I don't have many issues with the controls. Nice, but the other version of this game is much better
Sonic Unleashed is definitely one of the best Sonic games. The game features fantastic levels, especially those that take place during the day. The cutscenes are beautiful, especially for that time.
However, there are a few downsides:

- In this game, Sonic transforms into a werehog (a combination of a werewolf and a hedgehog). This is a strange idea and has received a lot of criticism. These levels are slow and long with too few checkpoints.
- You have to collect medals in each level to progress. It takes a lot of time to find them, especially when you're speeding through the daytime levels, making it easy to miss them.
- The Wii version lacks an open world, which the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions have.
- Unfortunately, the Wii version has a mandatory half-hour tutorial that the other versions do not have.
- The Wii version uses motion controls. Due to the many battles, this can quickly strain your arms, but playing with a classic controller or classic controller pro makes the game much more enjoyable.
Overall, it's a fun game, especially for the story, daytime levels, and boss battles, making it worth playing. If possible, I would recommend getting the other version, but the Wii version is certainly not bad at all. Hide. Cijfer:

Sonic is too fast, but the Werewolf plays more smoothly
Sonic, the speedy hedgehog, that's what he's known for. You'll experience this speed in Sonic Unleashed as well. However, in my opinion, he is too fast, as you'll often find yourself flying off the track. His counterpart, the Werewolf (which is new by the way), on the other hand, is considerably slower but plays much more smoothly.
All in all, a fun game, with just a few minor points of irritation. Doesn't offer anything original, but hey, it's just enjoyable.

Sonic games have always been cool: speed, speed, and... exactly: even more speed! Unfortunately, that same speed has been rather absent in the last few games in the series (first due to time manipulation, then through extensive sword fights), and that's a shame, of course.
The beginning of the game is therefore great because we finally return to the super-fast gameplay we're used to from our favorite blue hedgehog. But when we first transform into the werehog, we unfortunately notice that the joy is short-lived: the speed is completely gone again. Great game with Sonic, not with the Werehog.
Sonic Unleashed is a very enjoyable game, especially with the regular Sonic! I find the Werehog levels quite boring, but overall, this is a fun and good game! Too bad about the Werehog levels... (Definitely doesn't compare to The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess -.- ) Cijfer:

Fight and race with Sonic
Sonic Unleashed is a good game. As a werewolf, you often move slowly and have to fight a lot, which you wouldn't quickly associate with a Sonic game. In my opinion, Sonic games should be all about one thing: lots of speed.

Just like in the previous games, there are fast-paced levels that you must complete, but also slower night levels as werewolf Sonic. Sonic Unleashed wasn't one of SEGA's best games because we expect Sonic to be a "fast" game. Unfortunately, 50% of it is slow and less exciting. This game is a must-have for Sonic fans, but if you're a Sonic fan (or not a Sonic fan) who only enjoys speed, this game won't please you. Cijfer:
