Best rail shooter game in years!
The folks at Treasure have done it again. Since the 90s, Treasure has been creating hardcore shooters, and with Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies, they are raising the bar once more.

This game is not just non-stop nerve-wracking action; it also offers a lot of variety in its shooting mechanics by switching between 2D and 3D sections. Add to this the diverse levels such as the nighttime level, where you hunt down enemies with flashlights, and you know you're playing a truly exceptional rail shooter.

Apart from the playable characters, everything looks very impressive, and the framerate never drops, despite the hundreds of bullets and creatures crossing the screen.
The co-op mode is a bit weakly executed and would have been better if player 2 also controlled a character instead of just a sight.

This game is a real must-have for any Wii owner.
The action in this game is very intense. Sometimes it can be quite frustrating because it's very challenging. The story is a bit unoriginal, nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. The controls are very good (especially for a shooting game on the Wii!) And the graphics will not disappoint. As for the music, there's not much to say, it really depends on the player's taste in music. One downside is that Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies is rather short.

Fun chaos is still Chaos
This is a rail shooter where you see your character on the screen and can dodge attacks, and that's necessary because you're being shot at from all sides, turning Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies into chaos, but delightful chaos at that, because once you get the hang of this game, you'll have non-stop action coming at you. Every rail shooter fan should have this in their collection.

Things to Do
Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies is a fun game and the graphics are not too bad either.
The game plays smoothly and the environments are quite varied, although there are not only good things to say about the game.
You are often overwhelmed by enemies and usually there are too many of them. This makes you constantly pressing the dodge button. Also, you are often distracted by all sorts of things and therefore cannot fully enjoy the environments.
Fortunately, the enemies are manageable and the end bosses are not too difficult, except for the end boss you encounter in the forest. Her mouth could use some tape, as that screaming is not pleasant at all.

Fun arcade shooter to let loose!
Really a super fun arcade shooter. You actually don't have a moment of rest, apart from the not very special cut-scenes, and are constantly mowing down enemies around you (which you have to enjoy). Environments are very cool and sometimes you just don't know if you're hanging upside down or flying horizontally through masses of enemies. Incredibly dynamic. The end bosses are also fun, you really have to search for the weak spot. And often you don't succeed on the first try. You have to be able to handle that. The graphics aren't very remarkable, but because everything moves so fast, you don't really notice, except in the cutscenes. In short, Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies is super fun to let loose and have a blast!

Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies is an excellent game. The enemies are diverse and the levels are beautiful. The end bosses are indeed difficult, it's not an easy game. The difficulty level is quite high, so you won't finish it quickly.
