één and all perfection
In my quest for games, I have a long list of requirements: good gameplay, sharp graphics, a good story, and above all... value for my money. A game doesn't just get a passing grade from me. But Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes gets a big thumbs up from me. It's a fantastic game that plays like a dream. What could be more fun than beating up hordes of ninjas, warriors, and other scoundrels with your arsenal of different heroes and weapons. In one word... amazing. This game met all my requirements. Unfortunately, Sengoku didn't get a 10 because it could have been improved in some areas, like sometimes the heroes don't speak in sync with their voices: it feels like you're watching an Asian movie, BUT... the beautiful graphics and cutscenes more than make up for it!
So, in short. Are you looking for an action/fighter game for the Wii with beautiful graphics, humor, and fantastic gameplay?? Then buy Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes! ps. unlimited special attacks, except for the heroes' strongest attack. If you don't agree with me... then you're missing out on a fantastic game for your Wii collection... and you need to get glasses!!!

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is a fun and highly addictive game. I've played Dynasty Warriors on other platforms before and I really enjoyed it. A friend recommended trying out Sengoku Basara, essentially it's the same. However, the graphics are much better and the controls are much smoother.
There are quite a few characters as well and the best part is that you don't really have to think too much. It just flows naturally. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy games like Dynasty Warriors. Cijfer:

Superb anime game!
Switch your brain to zero and start slashing away with the super cool anime game Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes! Fight and run on foot or on horseback through beautiful Japan in search of enemies, checkpoints, and bosses to become the greatest warrior and ruler of Japan!

Why?
I bought this because I read very good reviews on the internet and therefore had high expectations for this game. As a result, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes was a bit of a letdown for me. The game is fun in itself, but it didn't really blow me away. The game looks nice and the controls are great, but I felt like it lacked a bit of freedom. They make you think you can go anywhere and do anything, but in the end, you are still pushed towards a certain place. This game is definitely not for the very young as it contains a lot of blood. Despite not finding it a perfect game - contrary to what the internet led me to believe - it was still quite enjoyable.
