However, it looks nothing like the steering wheels you may be familiar with from other manufacturers (usually including a sort of dashboard and pedals). Similar to Nintendo's controllers, the Wii Wheel is completely detached, requiring you to swing it around in the air to use it... There is also a new version of the Wii Wheel designed for use with the Wii-Mote Plus. I believe it may not be much different from the one for a regular Wii-Mote, but since I haven't tested it yet, I can't be certain...
Which games can you use the Wii Wheel with?
It can be used with games such as Mario Kart Wii, Ferrari Challenge, Sonic All Stars Racing, and many others (these are the games I have used it with). Some games, like the first two mentioned, come with the Wii Wheel included for free. An additional wheel (for a potential second player) can be purchased separately.
What is my opinion on the Wii Wheel?
Personally, I find the Wii Wheel to be quite cumbersome. Unlike traditional steering wheels, it's impossible to gauge how much you're turning or what exactly you're doing. I have used it with various games (including those mentioned above) and found that I can steer much worse with it compared to using a Wii-Mote and Nunchuck (and believe me, I've practiced a lot). Some prefer the Wii Wheel, while others prefer a traditional controller. Overall, it's a fun accessory for those who can handle it well (like my wife, for example), and it's great that it exists. However, I no longer use it myself...

What is my opinion about the Wii steering wheel?The steering wheel is not the best racing game accessory. When I first tried it, I didn't really succeed with the game
Mario Kart Wii, but when I tried another game, it went much better. It depends on how you have to control the game, of course. I prefer playing Mario Kart with
the nunchuk and the Wii
remote control. Other than that, I think everything about the Wii wheel is fine.
