If you want to stock up on plenty of red mushrooms without wanting to waste all those lovely houses, you can head to world 6 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Just walk back and forth and bump into the Bullet Bills.
This way you can test your skills and collect 3 mushrooms at a time + earn 1-ups.

If you want to grab that tricky coin in the ice cave of New Super Mario Bros. Wii by throwing a barrel and it fails, just go back. There's a new barrel ready for another attempt. Saves you from walking around again.

The coin in the cave in level 3-2 is not easy to grab.
The best and quickest way is as follows:
1. Go back to level 1-1 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii and get a propeller suit (and complete the level).
2. Return to level 3-2 and make sure you safely enter the cave through the pipe where you see those bullit bills flying back and forth.
3. As soon as it's quiet and your position is centered, jump and then shake yourself straight up before the cannons start firing again.
With some good timing, you'll successfully grab it.

When you reach new worlds in New Super Mario Bros., you might encounter Ghost Houses. There are ghosts that come towards you, trying to catch you. But if you face them, they kind of "hide" themselves. When you turn around, they sneak up on you. So if you're having trouble getting past such a ghost, stand a bit further away, turn around, and then it will come towards you. Then turn back around, jump over it, and you can continue!

You need at least 2 players for this glitch. In world 1-1 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, go to the flag and press the A button at the exact moment you touch the flag. If done correctly, Mario should now be invisible. The game will freeze, so you'll need to reset your Wii afterwards.

In the first level of Coin Battle in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, head to the end of the level and jump on the two Koopa Troopas to gain enough height to ground pound on top of the flag. If done correctly, Mario will destroy the blocks he's running on and will keep running indefinitely without moving forward. This will cause your game to freeze, so you'll need to reset your Wii.

When you reach level 4.7 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, you should jump against the two walls just after the second star. Once you're up, you'll land on a platform with lots of coins.

When playing world 4-castle and you come across a section with a gate where a Koopa Troopa is located, and you are playing the level with Ice Mario, head over to that gate with the Koopa Troopa, freeze the Koopa Troopa in ice, and then quickly flip the gate! If you manage to do this just as the Koopa Troopa is about to land on the ground, you will see that the Koopa Troopa remains frozen on the ground without breaking. If you succeed, you will notice that a bunch of coins come out of that ice block, and for the remaining time you have, JACKPOT, you will receive a ton of coins, many extra lives, and an additional 3 million points added to your score for playing the level just once! This way, you can more easily reach the maximum score! Unfortunately, I don't have a video to show you... :(
