The magic is gone, a sequel would have been a better option.
Back when I was just a little 7-year-old lad, I used to play this game whenever I was at a friend's place. It had something magical about it, the mini-games, the different modes, and of course winning that cup. The gameplay was fantastic, however, the gameplay has dramatically changed and I find it working worse than the original. I just think the magic is gone, if you happen to see the GameCube version somewhere, grab that one as you'll get more value for your money. New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis is no longer the top choice in the multiplayer tennis world.
