Why change?
The Need for Speed games have changed too quickly, the whole point is that you can pimp your car nicely and beat your friends, not halfway through the track pick up a 'power-up' so you go faster or become indestructible! Where has the time gone when you could just drive over the track yourself and freely roam in quick race? (NFS Underground 2) And you could drive in a game that isn't half-drawn... Most people don't want to go back to the roots of the game but just create a cool car. They prefer to throw in the new sports car and just race.Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
