Creative designing with long loading times and framedrops
MySims is a fun and creative game. You can design everything in this game yourself, which is very enjoyable. It looks quite decent. It's just a shame that this game experiences framedrops in busy areas. This can make it quite annoying to play at times. The loading times are also very long.
The world in this game is very large, and your town keeps getting bigger and bigger until everything is built up. So, you also need to be very creative in this game, or else you'll keep seeing the same things over and over.

Charming and creative city building for younger players
MySims for the Nintendo Wii is a charming yet simplified spin-off of the popular Sims franchise. To me, it feels like a breath of fresh air aimed at a younger audience. Instead of the familiar life simulation concept, this game revolves around rebuilding a rundown town and attracting new residents through creativity and completing tasks. It reminds me a bit of Animal Crossing. You are tasked with designing and decorating houses and shops, unlocking more building options and items as you go. This adds a fun twist to the well-known Sims formula.

An important aspect of MySims is collecting "Essences," special resources that you can use to create furniture and decorations. This collection system adds a gameplay element that goes beyond just furnishing houses. However, I did notice that it can become somewhat repetitive over time, especially since many missions revolve around gathering the same types of items. Despite this repetition, the gameplay remains enjoyable, without the pressure of extensive micromanagement like in the traditional Sims games. This makes it a pleasant, relaxing experience for me.

The graphical style of MySims is cheerful and colourful, with simple yet cute characters and a vibrant world. The controls on the Wii are intuitive with easy motion controls, making it accessible for everyone to build and customise objects. Where MySims falls short, however, is in depth. There is no real life simulation element as in the main series; relationships between characters remain superficial and the story is minimal. It's a bit of a shame because the rest is well put together. All in all, MySims offers a relaxed and creative building game. It’s a simplistic experience, perfect for those looking for something less intense than the traditional Sims series.

Creative and Cheerful, but Quickly Monotonous
MySims is very creative and cheerful. You can design all the houses yourself, Sims give you assignments for furniture, and you can make friends. Unfortunately, after 1 week, it's starting to get boring and monotonous. I put it in the closet after just 1 week. A nice idea, but more of the same.

Freedom to Roam Makes MySims Fun
MySims is quite a funny game, the characters are cool, and you can walk around a lot in it. That's what I like the most, having the freedom to walk around wherever you want. It's a shame that it doesn't have multiplayer, which is a small downside, but overall, it's a fun game.

Very enjoyable, but not a game you'll play for days on end.
It's a very enjoyable game, but like it was already mentioned, MySims became a bit boring after a week and ended up in my closet. However, after some time, you do feel like playing it again.

MySims is indeed fun and cleverly designed. With those essences and all, I would have never thought of that myself. And building furniture, and having other Sims give you tasks is even more fun. Just like being able to build a house for new Sims found in the hotel. It's really enjoyable, but not something you'll keep doing for days on end.

A very good game
This is the kind of game you can just sit down and enjoy, without it being too complicated. Of course, the game does get more challenging, but you can take as long as you want.
All in all, a delightful game to play, and definitely not just for children. MySims is for young and old alike!

Creative House Building and City Leveling Up
MySims is a very fun game, at first I thought it would be similar to The Sims, which I never enjoy on a game console, but it's not like that at all! You can build houses, which works really well with the Remote, and your city can level up, earning you new tools. This way, you can open a doorway that leads to a new area where you can build more houses, and level up again!

I already found The Sims on the PC amusing, but now that you can play MySims on the Wii, I think it's really cool! However, there is one downside: when you're quite far into the game, it becomes challenging to progress further!

MySims is really Top!
MySims is a great game. For beginners, it's better to choose MySims over The Sims 2 because in The Sims 2 your Sims can die, while in MySims they can't. In MySims, you don't have to worry about hunger, using the toilet, or sleeping. Of course, you don't need to fear that you'll have nothing to do in MySims, there's a lot to experience. You can: Build houses, design furniture, convince Sims to stay in town, or even send them away. There's so much more to explore in MySims!

Sims are strange little characters
MySims is a funny game. You can even give your town a name, build houses for Sims (for those who don't know what Sims are: Sims are strange little characters) and unlock new areas to build houses there too.
I named my town Lovebird Garden and my character Lovebird.
