Metroid has always been a fantastic series, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is at least as good as all its predecessors. The visuals are great, the puzzles are challenging, and the bosses are delightfully tough.
However, what sets this third installment in the Prime series apart is the introduction of 'the new': while in the previous games you were constantly focused on rediscovering and enhancing lost abilities, in this part, you can actually acquire and develop new skills. This simultaneously brings about a refreshing change in gameplay that was absent in earlier installments.

But of course, it's all about the gameplay. The various weapons you can obtain are very useful and powerful. The controls are very easy to pick up. The Nunchuk for moving and scanning, and the Wii-Mote for aiming and other tasks like selecting visors and performing minor actions.
I won't spoil the story, but it could have been better. I wasn't really bothered by that. The game has a medium-length duration. I completed it in 11.5 hours on the normal difficulty. But I will definitely play it again for the different Endings you can achieve. Hide. Cijfer:

The most notable difference from the earlier Prime games is the motion control scheme on the Wii. The Wii-mote and Nunchuck are intuitively used for aiming, shooting, and moving. Great game, scary game over screen
When I was 11 years old, I bought Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. However, I reached the first boss and died. This led me to the "game over screen" and I was shocked when I saw it. It looked like moving blood, or some kind of virus. Here's a video: youtube
I know, it's not that bad, but for an 11-year-old, it's just scary. Apart from that, the game was good as a first FPS game for kids, because there is no blood or other not-kid-friendly things in it. Cijfer:

Another one of those games that make owning a Wii worth it. MP3: Corruption features really nice graphics (for the Wii that is...) that have only been surpassed a few times to this day. The boss fights in this game are really cool. They are truly huge, and sometimes you have to defeat them multiple times in a row before they finally die. The controls also work well, unlike most games on the Wii. The puzzles and semi-minigames are really fun and make the game more interesting. The map designers have clearly put a lot of effort into it, because what a beautiful environment they have created! Definitely one of the better games for the Wii. Cijfer:

Great Shooter Game
I found Metroid Prime 3: Corruption to be a very good game, but the only thing I found unfortunate was that you were bound to one type of weapon and couldn't switch between 4 types of weapons like in the older games. I liked the controls, they were smooth and I thought the story was very good. I enjoyed the addition of your ship. The graphics were very good.

Amazing game with plenty of upgrades and a captivating story!
This game is A-MA-ZING! It's a shame that there are many parts where you don't know what to do. But then YouTube comes to the rescue. Overall, it's a lot of fun. Without a doubt, Gandrayda falls into the category of "hardest bosses in the game": she is fast, strong, and has a rich arsenal of different attacks, techniques, and transformations. One of the first things that comes to mind is: "Screw it, I'm going to get you!". And that's exactly what you need to do. The Screw Attack has remained one of Samus's strongest techniques since Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime 2 Echoes. Gandrayda will run a lot, stand still, and jump, and especially the latter is useful: hit her before, during, or after such a jump with the Screw Attack and you'll scrape off a third of her total health in one go (it doesn't matter if you hit her from above or below). Who said nails were better than screws? Personal tip: Strategy to defeat Mogenar in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Just like Gandrayda, Mogenar is also considered one of the toughest bosses in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. But luckily, there's a special strategy for this boss as well to make it through this final battle in one piece:
During the first part of the fight, make sure to stay in Hyper Mode as much as possible. Your goal is to shoot all the orbs on Mogenar's body to smithereens, and using your phazon laser (which you receive unlimited during Hyper Mode) will make quick work of this task. The same goes for when Mogenar puts on his "Phazon shoes": simply use Hyper Mode to drop a few (enhanced) bombs. Just remember to switch back out of Hyper Mode immediately afterwards, or you might end up losing too much energy (=health).
By using this strategy and destroying all four orbs (3 on his belly, 1 on his back) like this, this giant will also quickly fall to his knees. Another boss defeated, on to the next one!
Secrets: How do I find all the extras in my map in Skytown? Head to Skytown, to the room where you find the first part of the bomb for your ship. In a corner at the bottom of that room, you'll come across a Phazite plaque with a switch inside. Shoot that switch to activate the satellite system of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Use the Spider Ball system to reach the very top of the room. Place a Morph Ball Bomb in all Bomb Slots. Once you've done this, all the extras (missile upgrades, energy tanks, and so on) will appear on your map! Defeating the final boss can be tricky at times, but often it's also about your own skills. I would recommend scanning the final boss first and then reading up on him, as that usually gives you a good idea on how to beat him. Plus, it's not as fun if you rely solely on Youtube for everything.

On Elysia, there is a satellite room. With some satellites, you'll see a bunch of white dots and crosses on the map, indicating the locations of power-ups like missile expansions and energy tanks.
