Extremely cool 8-bit game that fans shouldn't miss!
Mega Man 9 is already the ninth installment (Oh, really? :P) in the long-running Mega Man series that started on the NES. But because the later parts were less successful, it was decided to go back to the roots of the series, yes, in 8-bit!
Mega Man 9 consciously harks back to the glorious days of the blue-clad superhero. And that is certainly noticeable. The levels are very fun and original, and the bosses are great too. Although I must add that the game is very difficult! This game is definitely not for the faint-hearted!
The only downside is that some downloadable extras (which cost Wii Points) are a bit disappointing. It seems that these extras have been deliberately removed from the game so that you can spend extra money if you like the game and want more. Still, a game not to be missed.

Mega Man 9 is just as strong as the older installments in the series.
Mega Man 9 revives the old days of the NES. A brand new game that looks like it comes straight from the heyday of the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. A very challenging difficulty level, numerous bosses, and cool powers make this a gem for every Nintendo Wii owner.

MegaMan 9 lets you relive the retro feeling!
For fans of Retro games, this is pure enjoyment. This time, instead of dusting off your NES, you can simply download it on the Wii through the WiiWare channel. Mega Man 9 combines all the goodness of almost every previous (NES) MegaMan title. Many power-ups, super-fast pace, and above all, a ridiculously difficult level of difficulty make this title a must-download! Old School Fun!

Effectively back to the roots
Upon the recommendation of an acquaintance, I picked up Mega Man 9. And I am very pleased that I did; after the great success of the Mega Man and Mega Man X games, this is a refreshing dive into the nostalgia of the NES games.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the game in a few extended sessions. And both before, during, and after playing, I consistently experienced that classic Mega Man feeling: simple, at times (very) challenging, and oh so worth it.

Nostalgic challenge with classic 8-bit charm
Mega Man 9 for the Nintendo Wii is a loving return to the roots of the series. It feels like it could have been a lost NES classic. The game features 8-bit graphics and classic platform action that instantly takes you back to the '80s. The relentless difficulty is something I personally appreciate as it really challenges me to improve my skills.

The tight controls make the game a joy to play. The level design is clever and the challenging bosses require precision and patience. What I particularly enjoy is that the soundtrack is energetic and perfectly fits the retro style. The new weapons and enemies add a fresh twist to the familiar Mega Man formula. It feels like a tribute to the old games but with enough innovation to keep it exciting.

While the high difficulty may not appeal to everyone, I think it offers a nostalgic yet fair challenge. Both old fans and newcomers can have a great deal of fun with this game. For me, Mega Man 9 strikes an almost perfect balance between retro charm and modern challenge, and it’s definitely a must-play for anyone who loves classic platformers.

So many memories, yet it's not a new game!
Time for a mini review of my favorite Wiiware game, Megaman 9! 9 as in nine because that sounds cool =P

We thought the era of frustration was over, Dr. Wily had been quiet for so long. but now... the war between you and the NES I MEAN WII begins! And Megaman against Wily... all over again! Thinking you were rid of a ""curse"" that made you throw your NES controller against the window, a new game came out. it's time for Megaman 9!

Ugh! This game... IS SO DIFFICULT! maybe because I was constantly playing modern games, and wasn't used to the NES era. No matter how much it made me angry, how much I felt like throwing up from stress (true story) (maybe it was just the sauerkraut who knows =P). I just couldn't stop playing! Then I realized, that old school gamers always played such games! I downloaded an emulator, and simply started playing with it too. All those games from the past, that I had also played. ""I remember this!"". sorry, getting a bit distracted and sentimental when talking about MM9! But I managed to finish the game after all that ""training"".

Mega Man 9. so many memories, yet it's not a new game! Download this game... now! why are you still reading this, you should be playing megaman 9, man!

This is the best order for defeating the final bosses in Mega Man 9.
1. Defeat Splash Woman with the Megabuster and obtain her Trident.
2. Defeat Concrete Man with the Trident and acquire the Cement Buster.
3. Next, take down Galaxy Man with the Cement Buster to receive the Black Hole Gun.
4. Defeat Jewelman with the Black Hole Gun to obtain the Jewel Shield.
5. Now it's time for Plug Man, where you'll get the Electrogun? =P =S
6. Proceed to defeat Tornado Man with the Electrogun to acquire the Tornado gadget?
7. After that, defeat Magma Man with the Tornado gadget and receive the awesome Magma Gun.
