When you connect the nunchuck to the controller to run in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, you'll go faster!! But when swimming, make sure not to connect the nunchuck to the controller, as it will make you swim much slower!

After you've been shot out of the cannon on your way to the final round of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, make sure you can perform a special action (pressing the A button). Once you've entered your first command, press A to land safely, zoom super fast across the track, and be careful not to crash into a pole or anything so you can achieve a good time. That's how I made it to the top of Europe :)

In the festival booth of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, you have to play curling against Dry Bones. If you win, you'll receive Dry Bones' outfit.

After that, you'll respawn a little further ahead in the course, and then activate your turbo by pressing A. This trick will easily save you around 4 seconds if you aim to reach the top of Europe like me ;)

Buy the golden and platinum shopping cards at the secret shop of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and get items that you can only collect with that card.

Once you've completed both story modes in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, make sure to visit the secret shop. You'll need to buy quite a few cards to unlock them both.

Sometimes in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, you have to search for characters (from a letter). My tip is that they are almost always sitting on the stands at the sides.

It's really fun to use your own Mii character in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games because you can give all your characters their own unique look and style. I've dressed up my Mii as Dry Bowser.

If you play Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games during the winter, you'll get the "Find Santa Claus" event. You'll see him sitting by the dream snowball fight.

In Dream Snowboardcross in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, there's a point where you'll encounter a red suspension bridge. When you reach this spot, you have the option to go through the opening or turn right. If you choose to go right, you'll be launched upwards and can ride over the railing of the bridge. Keep doing this until the end, and it will save you a lot of time!
