The sequel to the entertaining Mario Smash Football on the Gamecube is, in my opinion, one of the best games on the Wii so far. The biggest innovation is that you can place a different sidekick in every position, each with its own specific qualities. Each sidekick also has its own special move and skillshot, and each captain has their own power-up. Also fun is the Megastrike, which allows you to score multiple goals at once. This leads to very enjoyable scenarios. For example, if you're trailing 0-5 and you execute a Megastrike, you might just come back in one go and win 6-5.
The Road to the Striker Cup is also very enjoyable and challenging. With the Z-button, you can "chip" the ball up, allowing you to perform many tricks and even use the wall. All in all, Mario Strikers Charged Football is definitely worth it. Cijfer:

I've played the GameCube version often enough. When the Wii version came out, I rushed to the store immediately. Once I started the game, I didn't put down my Wii for a month. It gives you a great feeling to blast your opponents off the field or pelt them with shields.
The game features a Tournament mode, which is almost impossible. The first cup is doable. The 2nd cup gets tricky, but the 3rd one is truly almost impossible. I made it to the final, but I just can't beat Petey Piranha.

There's also a very challenging mission mode. Here, you have to complete missions with each character, like: Starting with a 3-0 deficit, try to win the match within 1 minute. This is a cleverly designed system that I enjoy playing often.

This is a sequel to Mario's soccer debut on the Gamecube, and I have to say, the game is well done. Many things have been improved, such as the graphics and the fields, and everything is naturally designed for Wii controls. At the start of a match, you choose a team consisting of four players and a captain. You win by, of course, scoring more goals than your opponent. This can be done by passing and shooting at the right moment. But more fun is the MegaStrike. By holding down A and releasing it at the right moment, you determine how many balls you shoot and how much power you put behind your shot. The other player then has to try to stop the balls with the Wii-mote. How great is it to have a game of football with your friends! Every time I play Mario Strikers Charged Football, there's a lot of laughter.
It's so much fun because you can really let loose, as there are absolutely no rules!
I used to play Mario Smash Football for the GameCube a lot before, and it was already super fun then!
The super shots are always so thrilling, especially now that you also have to keep goal yourself (which wasn't possible before). You can also build your own team and position them wherever you want (which wasn't possible in the past). Cijfer:

Lots of variety and online fun, but can be a bit long-winded at times
I find Mario Strikers Charged Football, and many others find this a very enjoyable game. There is a lot of variety in the way of scoring, the cups (unfortunately fewer than on the GameCube), the teams... Etc..
Another plus is that you can play online. That is usually a lot of fun, although sometimes there seem to be real pros present. Overall, it's a top game.

The best fun football game
Mario Strikers Charged Football: the best fun football game for the Wii! Lots of unlockables, the craziest power-ups, and of course the Megastrike (where you can score multiple goals at once). I played it today on my Wii with 3 friends, it's really a laugh: Waluigi suddenly jumps into your goal, Birdo throws something that looks like a giant egg into your goal and scores, you do the Megastrike and score 3 goals, etc! I would never play this game alone, but with friends or via Wi-Fi, I can enjoy it all day long! Cijfer:

Not really value for your money.
Why would you want to fight in a soccer game when you can do that in Super Smash Bros already? When you try to make a final shot and you're almost there, you usually get knocked down and then you have to try to steal the ball again.
