Doesn't add much new, but still enjoyable
This game works exactly the same as the previous LEGO Harry Potter and actually most other LEGO games, so it also has the weaknesses and strengths of those games. It's fun to see your favorite scenes in LEGO form, the LEGO humor you see in all LEGO games is enjoyable, and the world is full of secrets to discover. The downsides are that the collectibles are so numerous that it's almost impossible to 100% complete the game, you're forced to backtrack, and there isn't really a sense of speed in the game, making everything feel a bit slow. Furthermore, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is very dark compared to the previous game, and I mean that quite literally: I had to increase the brightness of my TV to see anything. All in all, just a good LEGO game, but not particularly special.

Exciting and Creative Harry Potter Gaming Experience
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 on the Nintendo Wii offers an adventurous gaming experience where you get to follow the story of the final films and books. I absolutely loved exploring familiar locations like Hogwarts and Diagon Alley. The puzzles are challenging yet not frustrating, and the battles against enemies truly enhance the gameplay with the unique LEGO powers you can use.

The colorful graphics and humor kept me laughing throughout. It's enjoyable for both Harry Potter and LEGO fans. For me, it was a perfect blend of excitement and creativity. My friends and I had an amazing time playing it!

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is such a fun game with new but enjoyable jokes!! It's also funny that in the 1st year of the game (The 5th year) you have to start learning spells all over again.
In short, you HAVE to buy this game!!!!

A fun game for everyone!
It's another fun game just like LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. You get to learn different spells, so it stays enjoyable to play! I'm a girl myself and I enjoy the game! So, the game is for boys and girls! Oh, to progress you do need to fight, so if you're not into magic and fighting, this might not be the game for you... But if you do enjoy it, then it's the perfect game for you! You don't have to be a LEGO fan or a Harry Potter fan for this.

Great story, good gameplay, and not quickly completed.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is a fantastic sequel to the first part: years 1-4.

A major plus is that you can truly call this a sequel. The story picks up where the last book/film left off, and the spells, abilities, and such that you learned in the first part are immediately available and don't need to be relearned.

The open world has been greatly improved. Many new locations have been added. You can now freely roam around Hogsmeade, Platform 9 3/4, the Forbidden Forest, and the hideout in the forest from part 7. The locations from the first part have also been enhanced. For example, you can now walk on the grounds of Hogwarts and new areas have been added. Including the astronomy tower and the Room of Requirement.

The levels, just like in part 1, depict a few chapters from the books/films and continue the story. In each level and in the free world, you can find/collect Studs, Student in Peril, Character Blocks, Red Bricks, Gold Bricks, and Crests.

The music in the game consists of the film soundtracks, which really makes it special.

All in all, Lego Harry Potter 5-7 is a fantastic game. You have to play through all levels at least twice, because each level contains something that only becomes available towards the end of the game. And finding and discovering everything without help is a huge challenge!

This game is so much fun.
It's the same as the previous installment but with new stories, of course. There are more characters to unlock and it has become a bit more challenging.
If I were you, I would definitely buy LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7.

Amazing
Another fun LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 game with cool (new) spells, missions, puzzles, and of course the final battle (which I wish could have lasted a bit longer). The controls are also fantastic, so everything is perfect.

Beautiful graphics, good gameplay, and long playtime.
A fantastic sequel in the Harry Potter LEGO series. LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 utilizes the same mechanics as the previous game, but with a significant improvement in the quality of these mechanics; the graphics are better, some layouts have been refreshed, and most of the bugs present in the first game have been fixed. Furthermore, the playtime, just like in the previous game, is delightfully long. Even though the game is almost nine years old by now, I simply have to recommend it!
