Action-Packed Adventure with Stealth and Teamwork
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 for the Nintendo Wii is an action-packed adventure that takes you on the thrilling journey of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. At my place, we particularly enjoyed the various locations you explore, from the dark forest to the deserted streets of London. The game offers a mix of stealth and action, where you often have to sneak around to evade and eliminate Voldemort's followers.

What I personally found really cool is how the game emphasizes teamwork. You really have to collaborate with Ron and Hermione to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. This not only makes the game challenging but also a lot of fun to play with friends or family. The storyline is engaging and follows the book and the film closely, giving you a real sense of being part of the magical world of Harry Potter.

The graphics on the Nintendo Wii are impressive for that time and add to the atmosphere of the game. The environments are detailed, and the characters look great. For me, it was a fantastic experience to be able to immerse myself in the world of Harry Potter in this way. If you're a fan of the franchise, this game is definitely a must-play!

Quite a fun game.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a fun game with lots of adventure and fighting.
However, sometimes there is a glitch in the game...
Plenty of fighting and almost the same adventure as in the movie and almost the same as the book. Spell usage is also very powerful. Just a shame that the same Death Eaters keep appearing, disguised as tramps.

Disappointing
I bought this game last winter for 10 euros. I was initially completely taken with it when I brought it home. The beginning was definitely good, but as the game progresses, it gets worse. For example, you can just run past all the Death Eaters without dying, you don't have to care about Ron and Hermione because they never die anyway, and there are some parts that are terribly easy while others are too difficult, simply because you have no hiding places during a fight. There's no need to switch spells, which also takes up way too much time. Dementors and Death Eaters can walk through closed doors, and sometimes the game is rather vague about what you should do. The graphics are nice and the controls are good, but still, it's a bit disappointing to me. I finished the game in just 2 afternoons and it's been sitting in the closet gathering dust ever since. Very unfortunate, but thankfully, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is much better! :)

The amazing game series is being ruined.
After an amazing series of Harry Potter games, I find that both parts of Deathly Hallows are quite ruined. The first 5 parts still give me a warm feeling. Part 6 (Half-Blood Prince) is already a bit less enjoyable, as it resembles 5 (Order of the Phoenix) too much.
In both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, you have too little freedom and basically just have to run and duel... In my opinion, these Wii games could have actually been left out.

Harry Potter!... or maybe Call Of Duty?
In this game, the Harry Potter series took a completely wrong turn. The game looks quite nice, but it completely lacks a story. You just have to shoot everyone, which doesn't mean it's a bad game, but that's not what you expect when you buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1. So, it is a good game, but it leans more towards Call of Duty than being an actual Harry Potter adventure game. In this game, you can't freely roam anymore, it's purely mission-based. Want a fun shooter? Go ahead and buy it. Want a fun Harry Potter game with a good story? Stick to the previous installments.

Too much action, too little adventure
Unfortunately, after the fun adventures/discovery games of Harry Potter, a less remarkable one...
It seems like the whole game revolves around battles: a sort of World of Warcraft in Harry Potter style...
After such an AMAZING movie, you also expect an AMAZING game, but unfortunately that's not the case...
But the same was said about the movie: the first part would mainly convey negativity, you can also see that in how the first part ends.
Part 2 would have more romance and also more aspects that we are used to in Harry Potter movies. So now we are waiting for the game of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2... Hoping that one will be better...

Oh, God
How can you mess up a series of good games with almost the last part?! I don't know what it is, but it's so boring!
I played Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 for 40 minutes before falling asleep, and yes, after 40 minutes you can't really give a good opinion, but can I help it?! There's a part where you have to figure out who the "death eaters" are and who the "muggles" are. If you get caught by someone (kind of like Metal Gear), you have to start all over again. I did it about 7 times and didn't get any further. I was also disappointed that you have to press buttons for a spell, instead of waving the wii-mote.

Please buy the Order of the Phoenix. Not the most fun game either, but much better than this!
