Can you play Gamecube games on the Wii?
As most people already know: The
Gamecube is also in the Wii.
Fortunately, because no new Gamecubes are being made anymore.
Unfortunately, not all Gamecube games have been released for the Wii.
But luckily, you can play Gamecube games on the Wii with some Gamecube accessories.
What do you need to play Gamecube games on the Wii?
You will need:
- At least 1 controller up to a maximum of 4 controllers.
If you have more, you can play multiplayer.
- Of course, a
Gamecube game to play.
- A memory card (not necessary, but useful for saving your games!)
- And of course, yourself to play!
If you have multiple controllers: 'Call your friends!'
You can always ask your friend(s) to bring their own
controller as well.
Do you have to use original controllers + memory card?
No, that's not necessary.
For example, you can also buy a BigBen controller or a
Bigben Memory Card! You can of course also buy other brands!
Note: These accessories are very delicate!
Furthermore, make sure to check if your Wii can play GameCube games; the
latest Wii cannot do this!
The original GameCube controller is highly recommended if you play GameCube or Virtual Console games on your Wii.
