When creating your own player in FIFA 11, pay close attention to the final steps.
This is where you can determine how good your player will be.
So, you can max out all the settings!
Therefore, if you pass to your skilled player and you're in a good position in front of the goalkeeper, it's almost a guaranteed goal!

When playing online, make sure to pass well. Always pay attention to ensure there's no opponent between the line of the ball you're passing to a teammate. I usually score when the opponent is almost near my goal with the ball, then quickly intercept and immediately play forward to one of the wingers in FIFA 11. Give a through pass with the winger (hold down C and press A). This usually leaves you with your forward player alone against the goalkeeper, then aim for the corner :D

How to take an effective corner in FIFA?

Instead of playing the ball high, pass it to the player running in (the one heading towards the corner flag). Then, turn away from your opponent and quickly press A to enter the penalty area. If you shoot right away, you have a good chance of scoring. I've scored many times this way, and it works much better than trying to head the ball (usually, the defense just clears it away).
