A must-have for online gamers
This game is a must-have for those who enjoy playing online!
I'm disappointed that the career mode is no longer included, as I thought that was one of the more enjoyable aspects of FIFA 08. Nonetheless, it's a game with stunning visuals and long-lasting fun.

Terrible
Horrible game if you're not into football, and even for football fans a huge waste of money. The gameplay of FIFA 08 is incredibly poor and difficult. At the start of a match, you have to adjust way too many settings and it's a waste of too much time. Plus, the graphics aren't really great either.

Loads of possibilities!

It's a really fun game because you get to decide who plays against each other, choose your own substitutes, play with your favorite heroes from all countries, determine how long your match lasts, and if you don't feel like playing a game of football, why not practice keepie uppie instead? Besides the option to play football, there are also other activities available like keepie uppie and table football. Or perhaps you want to practice in a football academy? It's all possible in FIFA 08!

Fun game, good controls, but that's about it...

Enjoyable gameplay, but stunning graphics? Not really. Compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360, FIFA 08 for the Wii is just very poor. The game itself is somewhat fun but obviously outdated, and the quality is just not up to par. This game is really only worth buying if you're a FIFA fan!

Not much different from other football games, but does have some fun aspects...

FIFA 08 isn't much different from most soccer games. You play with a team of 11 players on the field and with quite a few substitutes. What appeals to me a lot is that the game includes many countries and stadiums to play in. Also interesting is that all the names in the game are real, not fictional!

Play all over the world thanks to wifi!
This game is an experience for everyone. It even includes wifi so you can play football with people all over the world. You can also play without a nunchuck! Really chill. The game features very good graphics. The field is slightly shorter which requires more passing. In short, FIFA 08 is fantastic.

Realistic gaming experience, but field could be improved
This game is very enjoyable, it feels quite realistic, but I also have a suggestion: the field doesn't look very nice, so maybe EA Sports could work on that. FIFA 08

FIFA 08 doesn't really add up, it's way too easy and you have to spend an hour before playing a match and fifteen minutes to actually play a match...

It's such a fun game for the Wii, when I played it for the first time, I couldn't stop!! It offers a lot of great features and remains enjoyable to play!

A fun game for a great price!
It's fun to play a game from the past, especially at such a great price! You can't of course compare FIFA 08 to Fifa 13, as the latter has many more options, but I do recommend playing Fifa 08!
What I really enjoy is playing in a cartoonish style and scoring beautiful bicycle kicks! Playing alone is fun, but the game becomes even more enjoyable with multiple players.

Fun gameplay with good controls, but poor commentary and online cheaters
FIFA 08 is a very enjoyable game, the controls generally work well, and playing online is also a lot of fun.
There are also a few downsides; the commentary is completely nonsensical! And online, there are once again the necessary disconnect cheaters.
All in all, a fun game, but not super.

Ideal alternative for PC gamers
I was completely fed up with the PC!
Remembering all those buttons on the keyboard, I quickly bought FIFA 08 and it was fantastic. Initially difficult to win... Fantastic possibilities and tournaments!
