Pretty fun game. It's like Grand Theft Auto, but for the Wii. Racing, shooting, and of course, getting chased by the police. However, unlike GTA, the story hardly captivates, and the city feels bare and empty. Driver: Parallel lines is enjoyable, but not for long. Cijfer:

Decent game, but...
Unfortunately, Driver: Parallel lines seems a lot like GTA. Then again, that's not necessarily a bad thing since you can't get GTA for the Wii. It's also a shame that there are few people on the streets and everything breaks very easily. You can't play multiplayer either, and it's not as addictive...
But if you're bored, this can cheer you up for a bit, although not for very long. Cijfer:

This GTA looks bad.
Driver: Parallel lines is like a GTA but for the Wii. The game has a very good story with very realistic cutscenes. The controls work very well, only... the game looks very bad. A few years ago, it was very nice, but now you can get much nicer games. Cijfer:

Amazing!
I am absolutely thrilled that Driver: Parallel lines has been released. I know it's an old game, but the graphics, highlights, and sensitivity are just perfect. There are so many fun and exciting missions. To all the GTA fans out there, I would say, buy it!!!!! Cijfer:

Waste of your money
This is truly a VERY bad game, it's just a few small missions put together: driving around, dropping off people, shooting at police officers, and stealing cars. That's it. The only thing that wasn't disappointing was shooting some people for fun. In Driver: Parallel lines Cijfer:

cool game!
In Driver: Parallel lines, you play as a budding criminal who grows in stature through various tasks. For example, you have to steal cars, street race, help robbers escape from the police, commit assassinations, and much more.
You also have complete freedom in how you approach the game; you can decide for yourself whether to take on a mission because on your city map, you can find the different tasks and drive there in the vehicle of your choice or one you steal.
So, that makes the game really awesome, and it doesn't get boring quickly either.

Driver: Parallel lines is a fun game that bears a lot of resemblance to GTA. The controls (both for walking and driving) are very pleasant and easy to get the hang of. Almost the same as GTA, of course, stealing cars, hitting/shooting people, getting chased by the police, etc.

Personal tip: How can I shoot unnoticed and evade agents? Fancy some shooting without the hassle of the police chasing you in Driver: Parallel Lines? First, check the map to see if the police are around, then you can go ahead and do your thing! If the police do show up, they won't realize it was you, so you can just hang around like nothing happened! Personal tip: How to shake off the police? Are the police on your tail once again? Well, you've got two great options to shake them off. Firstly, check if there's a large park nearby (on the map) in Driver: Parallel Lines. If there is, head over there and tear around for a bit. Nine times out of ten, you'll lose them there!
No park around? No worries! There's always water nearby in the form of a pond, river, or ocean. Get into a vehicle and make sure the police are following you. Then simply drive into the water, and the police will follow you! Unlike the police, you'll just come back out of the water! This won't affect your life meter in the top left corner of the screen.
Be careful! This only works if there are 1, 2, or 3 police cars chasing you, not if they come with a van or helicopter! Personal tip: How can I escape from the police in Driver: Parallel Lines? If you have the police on your tail in Driver: Parallel Lines, just keep on driving. The key is to find a road that continues straight ahead (or a bridge). If you keep driving fast for a while, you'll notice the stars at the bottom of the screen, indicating that the police are onto you, disappear and you can just carry on!
