Dragon Ball games have always been good since the Gamecube era, and the Budokai series is an absolute must-have, especially for anime fans. Even if you already own the first or second installment, this game is highly recommended: while it partially covers the same story and features familiar characters, the beauty of this game lies in the fact that there is so much more to it!

Not only does the gameplay offer more action and speed than ever before, but the game itself is packed with new possibilities and unlockable extras. There are over 150 characters to battle, more than 20 arenas to conquer, and even each character's arsenal has been significantly expanded. Add to this the fact that the Story Mode includes many new storylines (both original from the series and so-called 'what-if' scenarios), and introduces brand-new fighters like Chichi and new Androids, and the party is complete!

Feels and plays like Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball Z BT 3 is a neat successor to part 2. It features a total of 161 characters, the largest character selection in the series. It's a cool option that the game can be played in both Japanese and English.

The levels are better than in the second part due to the addition of day and night options. This gives you a better idea of the times of day. For the first time in this Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, it was possible to transform into a great ape during a full moon, and for some characters even in daylight by creating an artificial moon.

One thing I found disappointing about the game was that the complete Dragon Ball history was not playable. Only a few battles from the different sagas were available to play. Playing alone, the game is definitely good for a few weeks of fun, but occasionally it can get a bit boring here and there. Sometimes it's advisable to play the game with a friend who can match your skills. If there's no friend around, luckily there's the online mode which is a perfect addition!

A top game that truly plays and feels like Dragon Ball Z!!!

Super cool fighting game with 150 characters and destructible environments
I think Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a super cool fighting game. Not only because I like Dragon Ball Z, but because the game itself is really fun!
Each character (of which there are about 150!) has special techniques where you have to perform a certain movement with the WiiMote and press the 1, 2, A, B, C, or Z button.
There are also many different places to fight (such as cities, forests, seas, planets, or in space). The fun part is that you can destroy everything while playing. I love how you can blow up a spaceship or throw your opponent against a building or rock causing it to collapse on the spot.

Surpasses even part 2
After playing part 2 on the PS2 and Wii, I was quite curious about the third installment on the Wii.
Essentially, it's the same game but with a slightly different style. You still have your standard story mode, but now with even more characters than in part 2, which is of course a feast for the eyes for any DBZ fan.

Did you think part 2 was cool? Then you'll find Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 even cooler :D

Highly entertaining!
In my opinion, one of the best games for the WII!
The game can be enjoyed both on the couch and standing in front of the TV.
There is a lot of variety in the game, and even after completing it, there are plenty of opportunities to have a lot of fun. A very enjoyable addition to this game is mimicking the characteristic movements of the Dragon Ball Z characters.

Extensive Character Selection and Realistic Landscapes
The game offers fantastic possibilities: there are a lot of characters, many realistic landscapes, and you can choose between English and Japanese voice-overs! However, there are also some downsides: the attacks are less spectacular compared to the Gamecube versions, and in multiplayer mode, your visibility is sometimes too limited.
I usually use the Gamecube controller; playing with the Wii controller combined with the Nunchuck is too difficult for me in this game, and I don't have a Classic Controller.
The voice-overs are really good! The story is solid, and you can even experience it in the Japanese language.
It does get a bit repetitive: fighting, fighting, and more fighting... This might make it a bit dull if you've been playing for a while, leading you to set it aside for some time. But after a few weeks, you'll find yourself craving Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 again and you'll pop it back into your amazing Wii.

Improved controls and expanded character selection
Just like part 2, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a must-have. This version of the game improves a lot on part 2, including better controls, (even) more characters, and the graphics have been slightly enhanced. I've had this game for a while now and still haven't unlocked all the characters, highly recommended for any Dragon Ball Z/Fighting game fan!

Perfect for Dragon Ball Z fans with many recognizable characters
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is simply a very beautiful game for fans.
There are already a lot of characters from the series included, each with their own techniques. I'm a fan of Dragon Ball myself and just find it so awesome, especially when you get Goku's golden hair. And all those powers are just so cool. The story is just like the series, so if you know the series, you'll understand what the story is about.
I wouldn't give it a 10 just yet because there are also downsides, as after a while, it does get a bit boring to play. But for the enthusiast, it's really something.

Too difficult, not for me
Well, you know what it is... (sigh) I can't do it. Even on the easiest settings, I can't beat Radids (lvl 1). I probably shouldn't even give my opinion if I haven't finished the game, but I have no choice! All I can say is: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is way too difficult... But it's probably just me... Which is a shame because the anime is TOP!!

Extensive character selection and amazing multiplayer experience
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a super awesome game. You have so many choices of characters with their own unique attacks and techniques. You do need to collect 7 dragon balls first before you can unlock some characters. There are plenty of different platforms to play on.
I play this a lot with my friends, they also think this is an amazing game!
