When you hear the title of this Donkey Kong Jet Race, the first thing that comes to mind is the glorious N64 classic "Diddy Kong Racing". Unfortunately, this game fails to leave as big of an impression as that golden oldie Rare title. You control Donkey and his monkey friends using the WiiMote and Nun-Chuck, but there's always a feeling that something isn't quite right. And indeed, that's the case, as the title was designed for the Nintendo Gamecube and was meant to be played with the iconic Bongos. However, they shifted the game to the Wii without adding the option to play with the DK Bongos. The game feels a bit like a Mario Kart Rip-off. The levels are nicely designed with some recurring characters from the DK Country series, but they still feel somewhat linear. On the bright side, you can unlock many characters, which is a significant plus. Cijfer:

Disappointing Controls and Unfinished Feel
I bought this game out of love for the Donkey Kong series, which started with Donkey Kong Country. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. In the game Donkey Kong Jet Race, you have to shake your Wii-mote and Nunchuck to steer, a fun idea but doesn't work very well. It feels like the game was finished hastily, with things that could have been improved. Not recommended. Cijfer:

Fun to play with friends and easy to control
Well, I've seen several opinions from others and they weren't as positive as I expected! But I don't actually think it's such a bad game! I especially enjoy playing it with a group of friends.
The tracks are really fun, although they can sometimes seem quite similar. The controls are actually quite simple, which makes it easy for everyone to join in. It reminds me a bit of Donkey Kong Jet Race. I also find the items and actions you can take quite enjoyable. Cijfer:

A bit of a shame that it's for the Wii...
I obviously prefer the first Diddy Kong Racing, and Donkey Kong Jet Race on the DS is almost the same. But I would have preferred playing this game on the GameCube with the DK Bongos. I think it's silly that Nintendo kind of 'converted' the game. Cijfer:

Mediocre controls and short gameplay
This Donkey Kong game is rather mediocre, the controls are not perfect. The gameplay doesn't last very long and resembles the mediocre DS game Diddy Kong Racing. If you really want to buy a Donkey Kong game, then go for Donkey Kong Jet Race!! Cijfer:

A decent racing game with Donkey Kong
I don't understand why everyone is bashing Donkey Kong Jet Race. Okay, the controls and graphics are poor, but that's not surprising for a GameCube (!) title. It was quickly ported to a Wii game. I think it's a decent game and very enjoyable to play with friends. Cijfer:

I think Donkey Kong Jet Race is a fun game but it does get boring quite quickly. The controls are made in a funny way because you have to kind of drum to gain speed and then steer. The steering usually doesn't work that well, which is a shame... Apart from that, it's enjoyable because you have a few unlockable characters. Cijfer:

Quite an affordable game.
I don't think Donkey Kong Jet Race is a good game with poor graphics. It's not visually appealing, and you might assume it's a fun game with cheerful music, but it's not. Perhaps this game is more suitable for die-hard Donkey Kong fans who really want it for their collection. However, I don't recommend this game: it seems more suited for people who just like to press buttons and race. And one last downside, the lack of depth is really disappointing.

This game is really fun. You can choose from many characters and race. The controls are all cleverly designed but work very poorly. You have to drum to a rhythm to maintain a certain speed. Disappointing Controls and Limited Content
I found Donkey Kong Jet Race on the Nintendo Wii to be really dull. The gameplay feels slow and there's not much content to keep you engaged. The controls are frustrating, and I think it would have been better with the DK bongos from the GameCube. Although the graphics are okay, they aren't really nice or impressive.
