Fun, but challenging
Do we all remember Donkey Kong Country for the amazing Super Nintendo? Well... the "Returns" series after 15 years and all the elements are back in it, including the unfair deaths...
I had a lot of fun with this, I mean, it's just like Donkey Kong Country, well, it IS Donkey Kong Country, but with better graphics... and that's about it, in terms of gameplay nothing has changed... But in the story, something has changed, we actually have a new enemy, so unfortunately no King K Rool... (sniff such beautiful memories, Donkey kong 64, Country.. R.I.P King K Rool) But despite that, it's a good game, especially multiplayer Co-op is fun and handy for when one player dies, the other can grab a DK barrel and bring them back to life. Levels don't last long and are too difficult for young children.
When I was playing Donkey Kong Country Returns, I really enjoyed it. The levels were original, the gameplay was cool, and it had a nice atmosphere. However, now, a few months later, I don't find it a very enjoyable game anymore. Donkey Kong Country Returns is a beautiful game, but I feel that the two-player mode could be improved a lot. However, Diddy Kong is in my opinion much better than Donkey Kong. I think they should have made it more like a Mario Bros game in terms of multiplayer.
Overall, it's a fun game but I believe it's more enjoyable when playing alone.

In many different ways: a fun game, but gets boring quickly!
Although the graphics are nice, I ultimately don't find it to be an enjoyable game. The controls are good, but it lacks something like the real Donkey Kong feeling. I've already purchased it but still feel like it was a waste of my money. Great quality Donkey Kong game
Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Nintendo Wii is truly a must-have. The graphics are stunning and the music is incredibly enjoyable. I often play this game with my friend, where he takes on the role of Diddy Kong, who can shoot bananas. The end bosses are unique and always offer a new challenge compared to the other levels.
There are plenty of collectibles, like the K-O-N-G letters and puzzle pieces. This keeps you coming back for more to find everything. Personally, I find the levels where you ride in a minecart or barrel a bit annoying at times, but that doesn't make the game any less fun.
