Prefer a regular Sims 2.
The Sims 2 Pets is an entertaining game, and this time not an expansion. You can choose a story and play with the family from the story. The controls are a bit lacking and the graphics are not as good as on the computer. The possibilities are limited and it would be nicer if a regular Sims 2 (or 3) comes out in the store!

Boring, aimless, and way too small
The Sims 2 Pets is quite a boring and aimless game. While the real Sims 2 for PC is also quite aimless, it makes up for it with interesting and customizable locations. In this game, you can only walk around in your house and in a very small park with a few shops. Overall, I find the Sims to be quite a boring game that is solely based on keeping your Sims alive. Not a fun game at all.

Not worth it.
I bought this game because I wanted to try a "The Sims" game for once. The Sims 2 Pets turned out to be a real disappointment. I expected to be able to build a house and have pets as a nice addition in The Sims, but in this game, you can't even buy a house... It's better to buy The Sims 3, which truly deserves to be called The Sims.

A nice version of the Sims!
Fun game, I've always enjoyed playing The Sims on my laptop! This is a bit of an older version, but still entertaining. That's because I love animals and because it's quite realistic!

Mediocre
I find The Sims 2 Pets to be a mediocre game. With The Sims, you always expect to have fun building an entire house yourself, but with this game, that's simply not possible.
One of the few positives of The Sims 2 Pets is that you can take care of other people's pets.
You'll also get bored of this game quickly.

Game for young and old

Unexciting Sims game
I'm not really into Sims games, and that's definitely the case with The Sims 2 Pets. It's just like any other Sims game, focusing on the typical house, garden, and pets. However, as the name suggests, this Sims game puts more emphasis on pets. There is a slightly wider range of pets available, but nothing that makes you go, wow! It's one of the less exciting Sims games, simply because there isn't much to do compared to other Sims games. If you're looking to play a Sims game, I would definitely recommend opting for a newer Sims game for PC.
