Usually, in this game, you have to kill the monsters with your sword. But be careful, it’s not that easy!

Not worth it for Castlevania fans
One of the few fighters on the Wii, it's nice that there are Castlevania characters in it, but the game doesn't really deserve the Castlevania name. The game is a watered-down version of Tekken with few playable characters, a boring story mode, and the multiplayer gets old quickly. If you're looking for a good fighter, wait for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Famous Castlevania Characters, but Poor Controls and Camera
On the Wii, there are only a few fighting games, including the very good games Super Smash Bros. and Tatsunoku vs. Capcom.
Castlevania Judgment is also a fighting game for the Wii, but unfortunately, it's not nearly as good as the previously mentioned games. The controls are poor, and the camera doesn't work well either. The only upside is that the (famous) Castlevania characters are in it.

Not exactly original...
The original Castlevania games were simple, but remarkably effective and fun to play. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for related games like Castlevania Judgement: unlike other fighters such as Smash Bros Brawl and Soul Calibur II, the combat system is not original at all (a complete Tekken rip-off), the storyline extremely weak, and the game as a whole not captivating in the slightest. They should really just stick to making a sequel to the original series...

Disappointment..
This game falls into the category of bad, as bad as Red Steel unfortunately. I had expected much more from a Castlevania game, but little time and attention has been put into it by the developers. The controls are poor and uncomfortable, feeling sluggish. Additionally, Castlevania Judgement has an extremely weak storyline. A waste of money if you're thinking of getting this game.

Even though it's different, that doesn't make it any less fun!
Okay. This may not be Castlevania as we know it, but come on. It's a really good attempt. Even though many fans may disagree with me, Castlevania Judgement is definitely not a bad game. On the contrary, it's a very enjoyable game. Especially when you play it with your friends. It certainly has a high level of difficulty. I've found myself on the edge of the couch many times, frustrated because my opponent knocked me out in the last few seconds. I'm also very pleased with the graphics. Even though the characters seem to have been taken straight from the anime/manga series Death Note, I still believe that the creators have not tarnished the name Castlevania. They simply took a new direction to see how far they could go.
Of course, there are also downsides to the game. The camera can be quite annoying at times. Especially when you're in a stage where falling off is easy. The camera also isn't optimal when you're running away from your opponent, but hey, mistakes can always be improved upon in a sequel. I've just turned the camera issue into a real challenge. And if you don't complain too much about the camera, you'll quickly get used to it and can just enjoy the fighting. Even though there are few characters, it's still fun to play. I do have to mention that you should see this game more as a casual game rather than a main game. But that certainly doesn't make it any less fun! So, Castlevania Judgement is definitely a game that should not be forgotten. Of course, you have to enjoy a challenge and the fighting genre. If that's the case, then Castlevania is definitely for you.

Not comparable to classic Castlevania, more like Tekken
Does anyone still have the NES with Castlevania? That game is so much fun (but difficult...)
This game is... well, ****ing stupid compared to the classic Castlevania! It's like a game where you have to kill your opponent like in Tekken, which is bad! Good job Daniël with those buttons (although I am a bit jealous of you..)! The Wi-Fi is of course also bad! >=(
You CAN go on an adventure but that's just stupid.

The only good thing is that Simon Belmont appears in it!
But it's a fun game if you're into Tekken, I guess...

Challenging gameplay
The game Castlevania Judgement is not something you can just breeze through. The story is really well-crafted. The graphics are definitely impressive. However, the gameplay itself is a bit lacking. That's why I'm giving this game a 6.5.

What are the epic finisher quotes of Aeon in fighters?
Frank
47061
Just like in many fighters, each character has a unique finishing move, along with an ultra-cool combat quote. However, Aeon takes it one step further: instead of just one standard quote, he has an epic quote ready for each opponent (including himself!), which perfectly cuts to the current situation of that specific character. Pretty cool, right?
