Great for the Fans
As a big fan of the anime series, I was thrilled to hear that a Case Closed game was coming to the Wii. Despite the series having been around for years and having released games on older consoles, Case Closed: One Truth Prevails is the first English-language Case Closed game for Europe. This game features the same voices as the English version of the anime series (but you can also choose the Japanese voices). The game looks nice, just like the series, and will immediately appeal to the fans. This game is a must-have for people who love crime mysteries and anime. Gamers who are not familiar with the series or Japan may not find much to enjoy in this game. Additionally, the camera can be frustrating at times (as a fan, I could live with it, but a regular gamer probably wouldn't). Furthermore, the graphics are not amazing, but this may be due to the fact that this game was released in Europe 2 years after its Japanese release. The goal is to follow the style of the anime rather than creating the most beautiful game ever.
So, I find it very difficult to give a score to this game. A fan will be happy to finally have a Case Closed game and will love it despite its flaws. A regular gamer will be bothered by the flaws and may not get into the mood of the game. If you enjoy the series, then give this game a chance.
