Fun for a day, then quickly becomes repetitive
Big Brain Academy is indeed a fun game, for a day. The game quickly starts to get boring and everything you do is always the same. It's fun to play against others and see who's smarter, but that's about it! Maybe enjoyable for people who really like puzzle games, but for the rest...

Fun party mode and challenging brain training
Fun simple games that make you a bit smarter. There is the option to play in a kind of "party mode" in teams against each other which makes it extra fun once you've practiced a bit ;-) Your brain is displayed in grams and the challenge is to have a heavier brain than your Wii friends. The only downside is that your "coach" talks quite a lot between games...a lot of useless A-button pressing.

Playing alone, you can quickly go through the game. A brain test shows you how much brain mass you have, and you can choose individual exercises to improve areas where you're less proficient.
The game truly becomes fun when played with multiple people. For example, you can compete to see who can answer 20 questions correctly first. This can lead to a lot of chaos in the living room. In short, a fun game, especially with multiple players. Playing solo, you might get bored quickly with the game.

Challenging brain teasers with hectic multiplayer options
This is a typical game: you either like it or you don't. Various games that make your brain work. Especially the "bird memory" is very difficult at the highest level. I find it a challenge to achieve the high score everywhere. (Are the other reviewers not smart enough? ... lol) You can play multiplayer in 2 variants: in split screen and taking turns in teams. The first variant, you play against each other simultaneously and it's very hectic and funny.
Because Big Brain Academy has a very easy lowest level, even children can play this game effortlessly. It's a shame that the game is in English, so not everything is playable for children. Additionally, there's an annoying coach who talks a lot in between. You have to press the A button a lot between the games.

Fun but quickly monotonous, doesn't make you smarter
Big Brain Academy is quite fun but it gets boring quickly. Research also shows that you don't actually get any smarter from playing this, you just got the hang of the games. So it's actually pointless, but if you enjoy the games, feel free to buy it.

Lots of repetition after a few days of gaming
Big Brain Academy is a bit of a rip-off of Brain Training for the Nintendo DS. In the game, you will do various mini-games to train your brain. Whether this really works, no one knows...
There are many different mini-games, but after a few days, you will fall into a lot of repetition and then it quickly becomes boring. If you enjoy a quick game session every day, this is for you/the casual gamer. If you prefer longer gaming sessions, this game is not recommended.

Very fun game, especially because it helps you train your short-term memory. That's why I would recommend Big Brain Academy for older individuals. I believe you can easily spend a whole afternoon playing it. You also need to enjoy puzzle games, otherwise, you might get bored quickly. Long-winded interludes after each task
I was really looking forward to playing Big Brain Academy, but I found it a bit disappointing in the end...
The tasks themselves are quite fun, but the "chatter" after each task takes so long that I end up pressing the A button for a whole minute just to continue.

Fun game, but aiming speed on Wii too high
Big Brain Academy is and remains a fantastic game, but with the Wii edition, you have to aim so quickly for a good score that you almost always end up with a brain weight of just 700 grams, whereas for the DS edition, I have a high score of 1500 grams. So, it's a great game, but sometimes it's a bit too fast.
