Great for younger players and family gatherings
Band Hero is aimed at a younger audience, families, and parties. It is based on the already well-known Guitar Hero, but true fans of that game might want to pass on this one. The music is softer, the features are the same as those of Guitar Hero 5, and the difficulty level is much lower. It's fun for some relaxed gaming, but is it the right music for that? The concept is nice, but unfortunately, the execution falls short. Bands like the Spice Girls and even unknown songs just don't belong in this simplified pop version anymore. Band Hero basically has the same concept as Guitar Hero, but the songs are very different. That is also the biggest disappointment for most Guitar Hero fans. However, for people who enjoy top 40 songs, this is a recommendation. The songs are generally well-known, which is nice when your friends come over and don't know how the guitar and drum set work; they can just sing along to a song they already know the lyrics of.

Challenging but fun
Amazing game, the fun part about this game is that you can also sing (not that everyone finds that enjoyable). It's also a very challenging game, so you can only finish it when you're truly experienced. Designing characters is also fun, Band Hero is a real recommendation but if your parents say you can't sing, then don't try to become able to with this game. Cijfer:

Too easy and poor music selection
Band Hero is a watered-down version of Guitar Hero/Rock Band, in this game all songs are suitable for the whole family. Even though they were already censored in Rock Band. The game is so easy that I got 93% on the hardest song (Lifeline) on Expert. The music included is also poor, Taylor Swift? YMCA (that one's still fun), Spice Girls? Instead of using good rock songs, they opted for pop. I do not recommend Band Hero. Cijfer:

Great for pop music fans, but lacks harder songs
It's quite enjoyable overall, but it's a bit disappointing that it mainly features soft songs. There are hardly any rock tracks, yet they included the Spice Girls? Additionally, the game looks very similar to Guitar Hero 5. Same menu options, and similar objectives to complete. Personally, I'd rather go for the original Guitar Hero, but if you're looking for a game with pop songs, I recommend Band Hero. Cijfer:

Unpleasant surprise...
Bought the game, inserted the CD into the Wii, and let's get started. Not quite, found out that you can't play Band Hero without a special Wiimicrophone or other separately sold accessories... Bummer, was really looking forward to it. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere on the internet so I assumed it was ready to play. Disappointing... Cijfer:

No quitter
I think Band Hero is a super fun game, I love trying to improve myself. The songs are great. You don't need to know how to play an instrument to play this game. You just have to be no quitter because sometimes you have to play a song 10 times before you get it right. Cijfer:
