Should have stayed exclusive to the PS2
Just like in the case of Agent Hugo: Lemoon Twist, we are dealing with a PS2 port here. This is clearly noticeable in every aspect; although the story is somewhat bearable, smooth controls are nowhere to be found and the visuals are well below par.

Add to this the fact that the series has been milked dry by now (over 30 games already, all with the same monotonous concept) and the verdict is clear; best to just leave it be...

Okay game
It's a good game. It has the creativity of a young child (so lots of imagination). It can be challenging at times and sometimes easy. But this game can also have some issues. Like: the levels don't differ much from each other. The enemies are sometimes far apart. But there's nothing interesting to do. You basically go from point A to point B with nothing new. I must say that sometimes you can take different paths to eventually get extra items. But they are usually the same (jump over enemies, defeat them, and run). But if you have little money and can afford Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday, your child might still enjoy it. But sometimes they might need help. I give it a 5.8. I hope the people who buy this will enjoy it. By Floris

I completely agree with you, Frank. I love a game with a good storyline, and that clearly does not include Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday!
The Hugo series is as old as the hills, and I bet the creators aren't making a penny off it anymore.

Not worth it
Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday is a disappointing game that doesn't meet expectations. Despite the fun concept of an adventurous agent going on vacation, the execution is weak. The gameplay is monotonous and repetitive, with little variation in the activities you can do. The graphics and animations are of mediocre quality, and the overall presentation feels subpar. If you're looking for a fun adventure on the Wii, there are better options available.

Very, very bad
Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday is actually just not worth much. It really lacks a storyline and gets boring quickly. I wouldn't buy this game if I were someone else, but now it's too late, isn't it? The Hugo games aren't that great anyway; they even turned it into skateboarding games with Hugo on the iPhone.

No storyline but lots of gameplay
This game is actually quite boring because it doesn't have a real storyline. And that's very strange. Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday does have 17 levels so you won't quickly finish the game.

No noticeable improvements from the PlayStation 2 version
Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday for the Wii is a disappointing port from the PlayStation 2, featuring outdated graphics and subpar controls. The game fails to take advantage of the Wii's capabilities and lacks gameplay variety, making it quickly dull and repetitive. The inadequate enhancements compared to the original version, such as the absence of graphical upgrades and the failure to utilize the unique features of the Wii, contribute to the overall disappointment of the game. Players seeking an immersive and high-quality experience on the Wii are likely to find more satisfaction in other titles that better harness the potential and expectations of the platform.
