The racing section is strong. There's no adventure on the Wii...
This version of Skylanders SuperChargers only features the Racing section. For the adventure, you'll need a version for the Wii U, Xbox, or PS4. That's why it also has "Racing" added to the title.

The races are very exciting. Until the last moment in Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, you can win or lose the race, and you're challenged to set the difficulty to hard to gain as many stars and experience as possible!

The tracks are beautifully and imaginatively designed. The commentary in Dutch is very well done, with some fun jokes. The levels are diverse, partly because there are races by boat, plane, and car.

And of course, new Skylander figurines again... The vehicles are super fun, for example, the cars have real wheels that can drive, and the helicopter has real rotors that can spin. This makes it even more fun to just play with them.

The number of figurines on the poster is 4 per element. 2 Vehicles and 2 characters. Light and Dark only have 1 vehicle and 1 element. It seems like there's a lot less to collect compared to the previous installments...

Exciting Kart racer on land, sea, and in the air.
Skylanders Superchargers is the successor to Skylanders Trap Team. This time, Activision takes a completely different approach. Quite literally! Sailing, flying, and driving through the Skylands provide a whole new gaming experience.

While Skylanders SuperChargers clearly borrowed some elements from Mario Kart (such as the drift mechanic), this doesn't take away from the fact that this is simply a very fun 'Kart racer'. It's important to note that the Wii version of the game does not include the 'Adventure Mode'. This mode is similar to the four previous games, where vehicles are used as a requirement to traverse certain areas.

However, the Wii version only includes the Race mode, a somewhat stripped-down version. But for those solely interested in the racing aspect, this won't be seen as a drawback. In fact, the Wii version has a major advantage in that the Amiibo figures of Bowser and Donkey Kong (along with their vehicles) can be used. These characters are exclusive to Nintendo and cannot be used in the Superchargers versions on other consoles, adding a sense of exclusivity.

Overall, it's a fun game with plenty of challenging circuits to keep you entertained for a long time. It's not Mario Kart, but that's the benchmark when it comes to this type of racing games. Definitely worth it and a solid investment of 10 to 15 euros.

This doesn't really feel like Skylanders anymore
Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, as the name suggests, is all about racing. The game itself bears a striking resemblance to Mario Kart, and it just doesn't feel like Skylanders anymore. The story mode from Superchargers is not included in this game; you can only find it in the Wii U version, which I found to be the best part of the game: the story.

You can still use all your Skylanders from previous games, but you don't do much with them because you don't really play as your character.

I wouldn't really recommend this game, but I'll give it a 5.5 because the game functions just fine. If you enjoy racing, I kind of recommend this game, but you'd be better off playing Mario Kart.

Little to do with Skylanders
This Wii version of SuperChargers really has nothing to do with Skylanders anymore. In my opinion, it's very much borrowed from Mario Kart. You no longer have any use for the Skylanders figures. Because all you do in Skylanders SuperChargers Racing is... race. The racing itself is quite fun. But you can only put your Skylanders on the portal to race with them, you can't walk around anymore and such.
That's why this Skylanders game is my least favorite.
I really recommend you to buy (one of) these Skylander games instead of this one; skylanders giants, skylanders swap force or skylanders trapteam.
Or the Wii U version of Skylanders SuperChargers because that game is really cool, as it has a story mode just like the previous 4 games.

If you're looking for a racing game, buy a different one. This has nothing to do with Skylanders anymore.
Superchargers on the Wii is not worth the money. There is no option to do missions like in the previous games. You can only race. The races themselves are fun, but not very challenging, and as a result, you finish the game very quickly (at least my 6-year-old son did). The figurines are indeed very cute to look at in real life, but you don't see much of them in the game.
You only need the vehicles for the elemental gates, not the characters. You basically buy the characters just to "Supercharge" the corresponding vehicle for a boost. You receive an extra race and an upgrade for your vehicle after opening an elemental gate. To fully complete the game, you'll need to buy the extra racing packs (3 in total), with the last one not even released yet.
Once you've completed a racing pack, you can race with the villains you've unlocked there. You can use your traps from Skylanders Trap Team for extra boosts. The Kaos trap boosts everything at once.
You can use your old characters from the previous games, but you can't use any character from Superchargers in any of your old games (not even characters like Terrafin, Pop Fizz, Stealth Elf, etc.). The graphics are pretty nice though.
It's a shame they've cut off the Wii version of the game like this while continuing on the same path with other consoles.

Just a racing game...
Where the previous Skylanders editions excelled with a beautiful storyline and characters, this game for the Wii version is just a racing game. Such a shame because the storylines make Skylanders a cool series :(. The racing is fun though, but it seems quite similar to Skylanders SuperChargers Racing.

Doesn't feel complete but kind of does.
As you can tell from the title, Skylanders SuperChargers Racing is a racing game, but with a focus on Skylander characters. The game has its strengths, but also many weaknesses. The downsides mainly revolve around the fact that the emphasis is not solely on Skylanders, as there are characters in the game who don't belong, such as Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, and Bowser. Additionally, I find the selection of racetracks to be lacking. The good aspects of the game, in my opinion, are the controls, the visual design of the tracks, and the game's storyline. I'm certain that if they had added more Skylander characters and tracks, they would have had a better end product. If you're a Skylanders fan, I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Fun, but poor controls
What a fun game. It's just a shame that the controls are a bit poor when you're playing flying games. The storyline isn't that great either. I would not recommend Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, but I do recommend Skylanders SuperChargers.

Not really Skylanders
This doesn't feel like a Skylanders game anymore, but more like Skylanders SuperChargers Racing. The whole point of Skylanders is to defeat Kaos and enemies. I have to admit that collecting coins is easy in this game. So, if you've played the Wii U version or another console version, this is a nice sequel.
